Hootie Fest 2026! 🦉🎨

What a WILD day for weather! The forecast had us convinced it was going to thunderstorm all day, so the Slinger crew worked SO hard and SO fast to move the entire festival indoors… only for the weather to turn out totally fine. Of course!

So we set up shop in the gym this year, but honestly, it didn’t change a thing. We were as busy as ever and it felt like the entire town of Slinger came out to celebrate! ❤️

And our favorite design of the day had to be the Slinger Owls logo! 🦉 It was SO fun watching all the little Slinger cheerleaders come through and get their Owls painted. We absolutely loved getting to show some hometown spirit!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, and a HUGE shoutout to the Hootie Fest crew for rolling with the weather and pulling off such a great event. 🦉❤️🎨

✨ Corporate event season is in full swing! And if you're planning a company picnic, face painting might just be the ice breaker you didn't know you needed.

We recently painted for Ellsworth Adhesives at their company picnic in Germantown, and one of my favorite parts was seeing how many adults joined in on the fun! When employees are bringing spouses, kids, and families who may not necessarily know one another, face painting gives everyone something to gather around, laugh about, and enjoy together.

And while we're soaking up the last of summer event season, we're already booking corporate holiday and Christmas parties! 🎄✨ If you're looking for something a little different to add to your company's celebration this year, we'd love to be part of it.

🌧️ Rain? We painted anyway. 🎨

Last weekend's company picnic at the Milwaukee County Zoo was absolutely pouring rain...and you know what? People still lined up to get their faces painted.

It reminded me that face painting isn't just about how long the design lasts, it's about the experience. The excitement of choosing a design, sitting in the chair, watching it come to life, and seeing that smile in the mirror. Those moments are what people remember.

We had an awesome pirate who looked like he walked straight out of a movie, and my new Thunderstorm design was a huge hit! ⚡️

I'm so grateful to Velvac for inviting me back for another year. Corporate events like these are some of my favorites, and I'd love to bring that same experience to more fall and holiday celebrations this season! 🍂🎄

They featured my color recipe on a recent post and I'm so flattered! ✨🩷 If you've been to ANY of my events you've seen this color combo walking around!
