Life has been… busy lately. Like many small business owners, I was feeling the weight of the economy and felt it was best to take a step back and focus on my family. In that time, I did a few projects here and there but really just enjoyed being present for my family. No stress of posting on social media, making deadlines, the weight of trying to be “perfect” all the time. Balancing a marriage, raising children, and maintaining a business had its challenges for sure.
In my time “away”, our family transitioned into an ingredient only household which has been so beneficial for our overall health. I picked back up my love for all things “granny”. We even went on a vacation. 😳 For those who know me in real life, you know that was huge. For those who don’t know me, I can go days/weeks without even leaving my house. If I did leave, you better believe I wasn’t getting more than about an hour away from my house. Overnight stays anywhere just weren’t a thing but something changed and we decided to go to Florida. It was beautiful but I still believe there’s no place like Osage County. 💕
I’ve been incredibly blessed with an abundant life. I owe thanks to a lot of people but the biggest thanks goes to my husband. He always supports whatever decision I make and makes sure I’m able to do whatever my heart desires. Whether that’s opening a business or TWO, homeschooling our kids, or deciding to take a step back. He has carried the financial burden for us more times than I can count and I appreciate him so much.
Here’s a little bit of life lately. ❤️
Be sure to stay tuned. The best is yet to come. 🙌🏻
