Congratulations Finley!! Great work!!

South Dakota’s Finley Evjen capped an impressive run at the Junior National Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 16U Girls 130-pound division, earning All-American honors.

Evjen dropped an 8-4 decision to Texas’ Zaylyn Woods in the fifth-place match Saturday.

The South Dakota standout battled through the consolation bracket after an early quarterfinal loss, winning four matches to secure a spot on the All-American podium. Her sixth-place finish adds another national honor for Team South Dakota at this year’s tournament.

One Team. One State. One Goal.
