In the 10 rounds main event, Deonte "SLZZP" Walker (22-1, 21KO) faced off against Fredrick "General Okunka" Lawson (31-6, 23KO) for the WBA NABA Silver Title at 147lbs in Saint Paul, MN. Lawson is a former WBC International Silver, IBF International Welter, IBF African Welter, West African Welter Champion who wanted to spoil Walker's plans for a title shot. Walker used his massive height and reach advantage to neutralize Lawson's otherwise, dangerous jab. Following his corner's instruction, Walker fought primarily on the outside, but whenever he did make his way in - he invested heavily to the body with his power punches hoping it would pay off later in the fight. A veteran of 37 fights, Lawson employed a counter punching strategy hoping to catch Walker with a heavy cross and ultimately tested his jaw a few times, but it held up. Walker used feints, his lead hand and heavy body shots and handled the challenge with the poise of a champion. With one minute left in the final round, Walker trapped Lawson on the ropes, made him miss and proceeded to pick him apart with powerful shots. Defenseless and unable to answer, Mark Nelson stepped in to stop the fight. At the time of the stoppage, all judges had Walker comfortably ahead with Plunkett and Brunette grading it a shutout (90-81) and Mariano had it (88-83). Deonte walker moved his record to 23-1, 22KO and has announced himself on the world stage.

In the 6rds co-main event at 147lbs, Ve Shawn Owens (14-4) faced off against Brazil's Eduardo Reis (25-16). Owens showed no visible signs of having been inactive for three years due to injury. He established his pressure early in the fight and started to break down Reis's body, who seemed content to smother his opponent in hopes to avoid the big shots Owens was landing. Reis landed some counter punches of his own, but the sting was missing. Unable to make Owens pay, and with the punishment visibly mounting up, Reis flurried as best he could late in the third but then got countered and dropped to the canvas, prompting Mark Neson to waive it off. At the time of the stoppage Owens was up (20-17) on all the judges' cards. .dinamita

Isaiah Abalan (1-0) faced off against Kijonti Davis (1-11) in what was a highly entertaining fight at 160lbs. Abalan displayed his pedigree and skill, forcing Davis to take a knee early in round one after a vicious body shot. It looked like it might become a one-sided fight and Abalan turned up the heat to get the quick finish. Being a twelve-fight veteran that has fought several top-prospects, Davis covered up, absorbed some punishment, and countered with a well-timed hook that dropped Abalan - putting some fear in the heart of his many fans. Abalan stood up quickly, shaking his head as if to say it was a flash, off balance knock down. Davis fought hard, but Abalan showed poise and made the necessary adjustments so as not to get caught again while increasing his output. He stopped Davis in the second with more precision body punches. At the time of the stoppage Abalan was up unanimously (10-9) on Brunette's card while Mariano and Plunkett had it (10-7). With a couple debuts entering the ring, the crowd never knows what to expect! Wilson Hill faced off against Armond Palmer at Super Lightweight. Hill gave up significant size and weight to his last-minute replacement opponent. Wilson entertained the crowd with his unorthodox style and tried to use his footwork to escape Palmer's pressure, hoping to counter with some powerful shots that just missed. But Palmer seemed to have a lot more amateur experience and was very adept at cutting off the ring. He stalked Hill patiently, used his lead hand to create opportunities and dropped Hill more than once in a poised and polished performance. Ref Mark Neslon put an end to the fight late in the first round. Palmer is now 1-0. Will AguaFrío Hill Armond Palmer Jr.

In what was one of the most hotly contested and entertaining battles of the night for Battle on the Waterfront, Gary Konkol (debut), stopped Timothy Bender (3-2) in a five round war contested at a catch weight of 150lbs. Both men showed great courage and heart. Both wanted the victory and both tested each other's jaw and will. In the end it would be Konkol's conditioning that would get him through. Bender was sent to the canvas with only one minute left in the fight. He beat the count but labored to rise and noting the fatigue, Mark Nelson stopped the action. At the time of the stoppage judges Brunette had it a draw (38-38) as did Tyrone Plunkett, while John Mariano had it for Konkol at (36-40). @
