Artist spotlight: Head Inna Bin system crew (Illudium, Nangpa & Ph3onix Fir3)
This twin cities crew has been at the forefront of the underground dubstep scene in Minneapolis for several years. Starting with Illudium, as the system owner and operator, he's has been dedicated to bridging the gaps between UK traditional and contemporary midwest dubstep sounds. Nangpa, the head cabinet mover, has been the mystical monk holding down the sound and community vibes with the crew. As for Ph3onix Fir3, this nonbinary, indigenous, champion of sound has been involved in the scene and helping the system crew since 2021. Ranging from dubstep, dancehall, to dnb, jungle, reggae dub and riddim. All 3 of these artists have built up an immaculate resume for themselves as being one of the most trusted dj crews and system heads in the region.
As a trio, they are all extremely dedicated to the underground sound and the communities that shape the culture, bringing an emboldened desire to implement the knowledge and teachings they've received into every session they take part of, in hopes of passing it onto future generations as to never forget the roots that have brought us all together in front of these systems.
