Throwback Thursday!

Meet Sara & Clara! These two lovebirds first met on the kickball field, and their bond just blossomed from there. Sara is the proud owner of Sara’s Pizza in New Bern (definitely stop by for some delicious pizza!), while Clara has a passion for gardening and cats. Together, they share their home with three adorable dogs.

One of the most magical moments in wedding planning is when the bride is about to walk down the aisle, looking like a beautiful princess. It’s that moment every little girl dreams of—the culmination of months of planning, preparing, and hard work. This time, we had the honor of witnessing not one, but TWO stunning brides! 💍👰👰‍💕

Yesterday was National Lineworker Appreciation Day, so we’re taking the opportunity to say thank you to not only Stephanie’s husband and this cutie patootie‘s daddy, but to all the linemen who keep our power on! 🔌⚡️🖤

Electric linework is America’s 10th most dangerous job. Not only is the work dangerous, but conditions they work in are often less than ideal - like restoring power after ice storms and hurricanes. Thank you for everything you do to keep us comfortable and safe!

Fridays rehearsal was windy and chilly, but they prayed, and God answered. The weather was perfect! High 70° with a light breeze, sun shining. By evening it cooled off just enough to enjoy the fire pit with a beautiful sunset. We were so blessed to be able to enjoy this special day with Karryanne & Garrett. 🌅💕

Garrett & Kerryanne met at track practice back in high school and began dating shortly after that. They have been together for the past 7 years, and were excited to finally tie the knot! They both have a shared passion for the ocean and nature. Karryanne is a marine biologist and Garrett just took a job as a State Park Ranger. They really are each other’s best friend. They enjoy working out together, going to the beach, hiking, and exploring new places. They also recently got a golden retriever puppy, and love taking her on adventures. (Pro tip to the newlyweds : hide your shoes!) 🐶 🥾

If a photo could speak, these would tell what a beautiful wedding this was, and what a wonderful couple Peter & Caroline are! We were asked to be their new day off coordinators only 9 days before the wedding. In that short time we fell in love with them. Wishing them many many years of happiness 💕 🥂

Caroline and Peter met playing rec softball. They still love playing softball together, along with a ton of other activities. Most recently they have enjoyed taking ballroom dance classes in preparation for their first dance. (Which they pulled off like professionals.) When we asked their favorite things to do…. the answer was simple “Spend time together”. They are as Jack Johnson says “better together”. 🥎 💃 🕺 💍
