CALLING ALL CAROLE KING AND JAMES TAYLOR FANS IN AND AROUND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!

The Tributes Unplugged Series November concert recreates the Carole King & James Taylor Troubadour reunion show from 2007 with Jeannie Austin as "Carole King" and Stephen Bock as "James Taylor". In November of 2007, Carole King and James Taylor came together to perform a concert that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Troubadour in West Hollywood. The concert was also a reunion of the two artists who performed regularly together in the early '70's.

With the intent to pay tribute to this iconic musical event, Stephen Bock of the stellar tribute to James Taylor "Taylor Made" has joined forces with Jeannie Austin of the popular Southern California Carole King tribute "Tapestry" to re-create that very show that was performed at the Troubadour which happened to include the cream of the crop of each artist's vast catalog.

You’ll hear classic songs like “It’s Too Late”, “Fire and Rain”, “I Feel the Earth Move”, You’ve Got a Friend”, “Up On the Roof” and many, many more. We hope you will join us as we strive to re-create the magic of that historic performance.

Tributes UNPlugged returns, this fall, to the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. Produced by Castle Entertainment Group, this 4-concert series will offer one show per month on select Wednesdays, September through December 2018.
This season boasts another line-up of what we believe to be the finest tribute acts in their respective categories. Each has their own, scaled-down, peeled-back, acoustic version of their show, making way for an intimate evening of music, stories and the essence of the songs.

October: FLEETWOOD MAC with Mirage
November: ELTON JOHN with Kenny Metcalf
December: THE EAGLES with The Long Run
