👨‍🍳🏅 Did you know Maynard’s is the only restaurant in Kitsap County with American Culinary Federation chef apprentices? We have THREE working toward their Certified Sous Chef certification, and they just helped bring home TWO medals!

Four of our chefs, including our three ACF apprentices, represented Maynard’s at Washington State’s Bite of Apprentice food competition. Competing alongside teams from restaurants, colleges, high schools, and ACF apprenticeship programs across Washington, our team earned:

🏅 Best Apprentices

🏅 Judges’ Choice

These awards reflect the preparation, creativity, and teamwork these four chefs brought to the competition. We see their dedication in our kitchen every day, and we couldn’t be prouder to see their hard work recognized.

At Maynard’s, developing the next generation of chefs is part of who we are. Watching them grow, challenge themselves, and succeed makes moments like this especially meaningful.

Please join us in congratulating all FOUR of our competing chefs! 👏🔥
