The best way to really enjoy yourself at a céilí is by coming to class! Set & céilí dances are, after all, social! We always have fun on Thursdays in Silver Spring -- a great teacher and a friendly group at a low cost. Learn basic movements and dances at 7pm, stay for the later session for more experience and maybe more complicated figures at no extra cost! The 'Set of the Month' is also covered before each upcoming céilí so you arrive there ready to dance. Come see what you're missing!

We are devastated to share the news of the July 30 passing of Tom Scullen -- one of the best! Active throughout the Irish community, he was an essential member of GWCC for many years -- a long time Board Member, past President, and always willing to step up with a smile on his face. Warmth, generosity, good humor, singing and dancing were his trademark. He made everyone not only feel welcome, but feel appreciated and loved. He made the world a better place and will live on in our hearts. Slán Tom.
