The Living History enactors are beginning to find their voices.
Not just memorizing lines. Discovering rhythm. Perspective. Contradiction. Humanity.
Over the next few weeks, these historical figures will step into rehearsal rooms, radio waves, and eventually live immersive performances at The Hearth. And one of the most fascinating things to witness is how differently each actor approaches the question:
“How do you portray someone complicated honestly?”
Billy the Kid.
Madam Millie.
Ben Lilly.
Theora Ailman.
Pluma.
None of them agree with each other.
Which is precisely why the conversations become interesting.
This week they rehearse for their upcoming debut at High Desert Live Radio Hour, and the room already feels charged with curiosity, humor, tension, and discovery.
History becomes much more alive when it starts arguing back. 🎭
