THANK YOU
In the days following the loss of Captain Kyle Huffman, our department has been reminded just how strong the bonds of family, community, and the fire service truly are.
The Siloam Springs Fire Department would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our community, family, friends, and everyone who reached out, brought food, sent messages, offered prayers, stood along the procession route, or simply showed up to support Captain Huffman’s family and our department. Every act of kindness, large or small, has meant more to us than we can adequately express.
A very special thank you to New Life Church and its staff for opening their doors to us and helping provide a beautiful and meaningful service honoring Captain Huffman. Your compassion, hospitality, and assistance throughout this difficult time were deeply appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the NWA Metro Honor Guard, made up of members from Siloam Springs, Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, and Bella Vista. The dignity, professionalism, and respect you demonstrated while honoring Captain Huffman and his service meant more to his family and our department than words can express. Thank you for helping ensure that our Captain received the honor and farewell he deserved.
We also extend a very special thank you to Centerton Fire Department, Bentonville Fire Department, and Springdale Fire Department for providing personnel and apparatus to cover the City of Siloam Springs during the funeral service. Because of your willingness to step in and stand watch over our community, our firefighters were able to attend the service, honor Captain Huffman, and be together as a department. That support is something we will not forget.
To every firefighter, law enforcement officer, dispatcher, EMS professional, Honor Guard member, and public safety partner who helped honor Captain Huffman and support our department — thank you. Your presence was a powerful reminder that no department stands alone during times of loss.

Most importantly, we extend our continued love and support to Captain Huffman’s family and friends. Thank you for sharing Kyle with us for all these years. His impact on our department, his crew, and this community will remain with us for many years to come.
Captain Huffman may have completed his final alarm, but he will forever remain a part of the Siloam Springs Fire Department family.
