NCAI is featuring artwork from Beverly's studio on the corner of Valmont & Colosseum.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR 2025 JMARTS SCHOLARS: Evan Andrews, Felix Banks, Jobanny Benitez Espinoza, Dennis Chicas Garcia, Hali Dodd, Delaney Fuquay, Charline Jimenez Rojo, Gisele Lopez Hernandez, Ismael Martinez, Hunter Scott, Summer Soria Mora and Jonathan Vasquez Mazariegos.

Since being launched in 2012, JMArts Scholars has awarded 113 scholarships to 79 students for intensive study over the summer, usually at weeklong, residential workshops offered on university campuses.

The Incubator is proud to be able to support the next generation of artists and creatives in Chatham Country and North Carolina.

We are living our mission to incubate artistic, cultural and intellectual growth in North Carolina by nurturing artists, makers and innovative thinkers.

JMARTS-NC ARTS INCUBATOR SCHOLAR! Lisa Fedele and Michael Feezor from the NC Arts Incubator visited Laura Newman’s art class this afternoon to present a $1,000 donation to JMArts.

Most of their generous contribution will provide funding for JMArts-NC Arts Incubator Scholar Charline Jimenez Rojo to attend the weeklong UNCG Summer Arts and Design Intensive in July.

Thank you to the NC Arts Incubator for their dedication to providing opportunity for artists throughout our community.

The celebration will take place at the new Arts Center located at 964 East Street in Pittsboro, NC. Guests are invited to enjoy a ribbon cutting ceremony, hands-on arts and crafts, painting and printmaking, stained glass demonstrations, interactive art, a free t-shirt for the first 100 visitors, food, and fun for the entire family.
Visitors can also tour the new studio space and get a first look at upcoming arts classes designed for all ages and experience levels.
