Grateful for this past weekend. I had the opportunity to help a sweet family plan a funeral reception for their loved one - both the wife and sister are in my Bible study. So thankful for our amazing Bible study sisters who pitched in the setting up, serving, and breaking down the reception and who prepared the most delicious desserts and sandwiches.

Later in the day, I was happy to be included in the Southern Trace Mint Julep - always such a fun event! And to top it all off, my nephew and his fiancee announced their engagment! So much joy and love this past weekend , even in the midst of sorrow.

God is good!

ABC Louisiana Meeting at Live! Casino and Hotel!

We had the pleasure of hosting our Louisiana ABC meeting at Live! Casino and Hotel in Bossier City. A huge thank you to our amazing speakers: Natasha Regard - shared valuable insights on social media strategies. Dr Charles Wu - provided expert advice on business tax advantages and upcoming changes. Yasmine Davis- Our Sandals Business Development Manager spoke on new and exciting changes with Sandals and Beaches resorts. Stephanie Attaway allowed us to host our meeting at Live! and we had an opportunity to take a private tour of the hotel and casino. The food was delicious! I loved the shrimp pasta and bread pudding along with all the other side dishes.

Just returned hone from an incredible trip to Greece and Turkey, and it did not disappoint! Both destinations have been on my bucket list for a long time, and the experience was everything I hoped for and more. The culture, history, and beauty were absolutely unforgettable. I loved planning all our excursions for the past 2 weeks too! I will post additional photos soon after recovering from my jet lag.
