May not have tended the herd but did tend the store then sat by the fire. This lovely prayer fits us all in some way. Thank you my friend for sharing in these troubled times. We all need it no matter what we do or how we get to the end of the day.
Evenin’ Lord...just sittin’ by the fire after a chilli day of tendin’ the herd you gave me to care for and watch over....lots of changes comin’ with Inauguration Day... so many unsettling things that I just plum don’t understand....but one thing you have showed me time and time again...is that You truly see all and know all and no matter what...You always show up and evil looses and good wins in the end. As I stood in the kitchen and held hands and prayed with my family we all became stronger and more faithful together in Your name. Let’s us all walk in Your will, Your peace and boldness in our faith, with Your strength and be who You have called us to be. To stand up for what is right and stand against what is wrong. Father let Your light shine through us, around us and on us! I pray for our country Lord, our soldiers and police officers and our good citizens...that this will truly be one nation united under God and Your Will Be Done in Jesus name and that “we the people” will all say AMEN
