On our wedding day Brian did not have any where special to hang out with his guys. They barely had space to get changed. So when we started plans for Half Moon Empire, a groom’s lounge was at the top of our priorities!
We wanted it to be a very moody room with all things dude…TV, drinks, game table, pool table, and patio access! Your groom will be more than happy to hang out in here on your wedding day!

We offer 7 guest cottages onsite at Half Moon Empire. Our cottages are perfect for a quick trip to Shiner to visit family, a business meeting or for your wedding party or guests to all stay onsite at Half Moon Empire. There is a honeymoon suite and ADA cottage available.
Each of these beautiful cottages sleep 6 guests and has access to outdoor space and the pond for catch and release bass fishing.

Welcome to Half Moon Empire, located in the quiet countryside of Shiner, TX

Conveniently situated between San Antonio, Austin, and Houston, our luxury venue sits on 76 acres of picturesque landscapes, and rolling hills with a backdrop of century old oak trees.

Comfortably accommodate 400 guests for your wedding day with floor to ceiling windows, side balconies to overlook the party below, and a picturesque view of the gorgeous century old oaks from a 1,300 square foot patio. Even our restrooms are selfie-worthy, yes, I said restrooms. No detail is left unturned.

Our beautiful bridal suite loft will have a private stair entrance with its very own balcony overlooking the reception space. Get ready for your day with, make up and hair stations (plus alllll the outlets), a floor mirror, mini bar and private restroom.

The men will be comfortable in their own getting ready space which is attached to the patio. Includes a private restroom, antique bar, TVs, seating and access to our outside games situated in the shade of our beautiful oak trees.

Large, on-site caterers kitchen, with a private, gated entrance for vendors parking and covered loading dock. We offer one stationary bar inside of the reception space with an ice maker. We also have mobile bars that can be moved to any location per clients request as an add on to your package.

For your stay, we will have 7 cottages available to rent. A perfect space for your wedding party or close family to stay together Each cottage sleeps up to 6 guests, has a full bathroom, getting ready space, mini fridge and coffee station. Cottages guests can have downtime after your event with exclusive use of our gaming area.

Envisioning all of the special moments with couples, family, and close friends spinning around the dance floor under our seven foot, sparkling chandeliers.

Music adds such a special touch to the wedding day from walking down the aisle to the reception. I still smile when our first dance song, Lost in This Moment, randomly comes on the radio.

Come stay at the moon 🌙 We have seven cottages for over night accommodations at Half Moon Empire. These will be available for weekend event rentals as well as weekdays. Each cottage has it’s own unique theme. Sleeping six people with one king bed and two full beds in the loft, a sitting area with TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee, spacious dressing area, walk in shower, and access to gaming area and pond. Our current plan is to open booking for fall of 2024!

Our bridal loft is 1,300 sq ft of open floor plan space. Our brides have a private staircase leading up to our loft and all they need to stay hidden away until it’s time to walk down the aisle. With large windows for natural lighting, a private restroom and a mini bar; it makes the perfect space for your wedding day brunch or evening toast. Get ready and relax together with your bridal party with room for everyone. Get gorgeous in luxury with hair and makeup stations. Our vintage sofa, crisp white walls and soon to be famous wall of windows make a beautiful backdrop for your getting ready photos. When it’s time to head to your ceremony site, you’ll stay hidden with the private entrance and doors. And don’t forget to make your debut with your new groom on our private balcony overlooking your reception below.

Let’s talk about the main man… the GROOM. When designing our venue, we knew we wanted a space just for the guys that made them feel important. Let’s be real, the big day is so much about the bride! For our own wedding, Brian got ready alone at a hotel. So giving the groom and his crew a special space to be together the day of is important to us. Our grooms lounge is the perfect space to hang out, get dressed and relax with his guys. With a vintage bar, swanky seating, and private restroom, your man is on the ground level overlooking our patio and outdoor ceremony space. He also has a private entrance to the inside venue.
