After one of the biggest droughts Texas has seen, the rain decided to make up for lost time right before Briana + Kaleb’s wedding day. 😂🌧️

With rain in the forecast, we had the indoor plan ready to go… but wedding morning brought the BEST surprise — beautiful skies, cooler temps, and the perfect day for the outdoor ceremony they had hoped for. 🤍

Briana + Kaleb said “I do” under the oak trees and brick arches, surrounded by their favorite people, and then their crew kept the dance floor packed ALL night long.🖤

The kind of wedding day that makes you extra thankful for blue skies, big oak trees, and a really good dance floor.

Congratulations, Briana + Kaleb! We loved getting to be part of your day!

🌳 Century Oak Cottage

Some things just feel like they were meant to be.

The first time we drove onto this property, we fell in love with the magnificent trees. They were here long before Half Moon Empire, and we knew from the beginning they would always be part of what made this place special.

Century Oak Cottage is our little nod to those trees—and to the quiet, peaceful way of life we love here. Slow mornings on the porch, our resident owls making an appearance, and those beautiful old trees standing tall all around you. 🤎

Century Oak is also our ADA-accessible cottage, thoughtfully designed with accessible features including a roll-in shower, so more of your favorite people can comfortably stay right here on the property for the wedding weekend.

Madison + Vance

What a beautiful day celebrating these two at Half Moon Empire!🌙

This one was extra special for us because Madison was up for trying a few things we hadn’t done before—and we LOVED how it all came together. Our antique church pews paired with our vintage wooden chairs for the ceremony brought so much warmth and character to the space, and we debuted a brand-new black + wood dance floor combination for their reception. 😍

There’s something so fun about watching each couple take the spaces at Half Moon Empire and make them completely their own, and Madison + Vance’s day was such a perfect example of that.

We were so honored to be a little part of this chapter of their story. Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Adamcik🖤

Dear Engaged Couples,

Don’t stop dating when you get married.

And dates don’t always have to mean reservations, fancy clothes and a babysitter.

Go get ice cream.

Take the long way home.

Sit outside together after dinner.

Go somewhere new.

Put your phones down and actually talk.

One of the easiest things to do in marriage is become really great partners at running a household and accidentally forget to keep pursuing each other.

You fell in love for a reason.

Keep doing the things that helped you fall in love in the first place.

Instead of having someone else introduce their wedding party, these two grabbed the mic and did it themselves ~ complete with a little personal commentary for each person. 😂👏🏻

And honestly… this was SO fun.
