D-Day.... the longest day in history. Today we honor those brave souls who stormed that beach so many years ago. They were a big part of making sure we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. We owe them our gratitude and I thank them. May God Bless them all.

Another several dozen Big Red's Creekwater Sweets cakes are getting their "pretty on" before heading out for shipment.
In anticipation of all the chilly weather about to show up, this year's new treat is a Chocolate Cocoa Whiskey Cake. It's a deep chocolate cake with chunks of white chocolate scattered throughout.... think marshmallows in hot cocoa. Then the cake is splashed with a generous dose of smooth Bourbon Whiskey.
The frosting is our special double dark chocolate buttercream that has more of the same Bourbon. Once iced, it is dusted with grated white chocolate "snow" and garnished with a Ghirardelli caramel filled chocolate snowman befitting of the season.
