✨Things a coordinator should do on your wedding day ✨
1. Pin on boutonnières! - I firmly believe that pinning on boutonnières is a coordinator/planners responsibility! I think this gives the photographer the option to take a few photos of the coordinator doing it and if they would like we can have the mother of the groom "fake" pinning on the boutonnière. This is always something I know to do before we start our groom + groomsmen photos, to ensure the photos are picture perfect!
Almost every wedding I have someone "fake" getting poked by the pin and the trick is that I always keep my hand under his jacket, behind where I'm pinning, to ensure if anyone gets poked it's me! They do a good job scaring me though haha!

I enjoyed this shoot so much! We all had such a great time being amongst all of our Friendors and getting to see each others creative side get to come to life! This bouquet was one of my favorite bouquets I have made to date! Low meadow estates provided us the most beautiful succulents to add into it and I absolutely loved getting to incorporate them into the beautiful flowers!

I love getting detail shots back from photographers I think this is such a great keepsake for the bride and groom. It's just a clean, creative way to show off all of the parts of your wedding with save the dates, invitations, jewelry, perfume, accessories. It's cute and it will always bring back memories!
I can't wait to see what our future generations will say about our detail shots and how much they change. Hopefully not much so we don't have to feel old. Haha.

I think most of everyone on here knows me haha, but I just wanted to come on and introduce myself if not! I'm Abigail, owner of punchy events + co.! I am 25 years young 😜 and happily married to my best friend! I started punchy events + co. In 2022 after a hard breakup with my previous wedding industry job and decided it was time to go out on my own! All in all I started in the wedding industry when I was 16 years old and it was my first job! I never thought that this would be my career and that I would be taking it on full time and falling in LOVE with the relationships, the people, and just all around the happiness! I don't think I could ever do anything else now!
Previously I had worked as a venue manager, floral designer, and wedding planner and I learned so much over the years. After I left that job I was in shock and had no idea what was going to come after that as it was apart of me. It took me a few months, but I finally decided to jump in and get my business started. As everyone knows things take time, so while building my business I accepted a full time position at the beautiful and I absolutely could not have landed at a better spot! The owners are absolutely incredible and all of my coworkers are fantastic to be around. It's the most refreshing, positive, and thriving work environment one could only hope for! I couldn't have asked for a better place to continue in the wedding industry all while building my own business.
2024 is been an amazing year, I have floral clients, I have planning clients and I have all around just some amazing Brides + Grooms I get to work with at DuGaren! I am so excited for my business to be growing and becoming a part of me!
My Husband and I are partners in the business and he is the most amazing partner to have as he helps me with the weddings, builds things for weddings, and just encourages me constantly to grow! I couldn't have asked for a better partner in life. He's really becoming a lineman by day and wedding planner by night! 😝

If you don't know I've been in the wedding industry for almost 9 years! I left my job where I worked as a venue manager, lead floral designer, and wedding planner of almost 7 YEARS! In 2022 I decide it was time for a change and decided I needed to open up my own business! It took me a little time after leaving my job to get back in the game and in November 2022 I really started Punchy! Brianna was the first bride to hire me and I coordinated her wedding and I did all of her flowers! I really love my job and I love being apart of the most memorable day! Are you looking for a broken arch on your wedding day? The broken arches are a beautiful unique design compared to a traditional arch! We also love the fact that ours can be moved into reception and placed behind the head table or at a photos booth for more photos! It's always a great day when you get to repurpose something!

Floating candle centerpieces are a great way to save money on your entire design! The candlelight adds a beautiful ambience to your wedding while you can also have a pop of flowers surrounding the base of the candles!
Another great way to use floating candles is to have a few bud vases. Place around with some pops of flowers!
I also love the look of different centerpieces in the room! It definitely adds some dimension to your day, so on a few other tables we could have a beautiful tall centerpiece placed on it and on the remaining tables it can be a simple floating candle centerpiece!

We will always go above and beyond to try and make your day absolutely amazing! One of the many reasons you should hire a coordinator! ⬇️ I've worked so many weddings that sometimes THINGS happen the best thing to do is figure out a solution as fast as possible and if you can avoid your client worrying about it... DO IT.. Now, I'm a firm believer that I can keep a lot from you especially if you can't change it and I will figure it out, but if there's something serious going on I will always let one of your "emergency contacts" such as mom or maid of honor know what's going on and if they believe that my bride should know I will always tell you. The best thing I can say is listen to your coordinator and go with the flow as much as you can. It may not go 100% correct, but I promise at the end of the day it will all be perfect!! Coordinators/Planners are some of the best to put out fires and "fake it till you make it" because some of the things we encounter on weddings days are just unhinged, but you would never know unless we tell you! :) needless to say....
