⚠️ Farm Camp Canceled Today – Friday, June 26 ⚠️
After closely monitoring the forecast throughout the week and again this morning, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Farm Camp today.
Weather models continue to show storms and steady rain moving into our area around 9:00 AM. While the morning may begin with only scattered showers, the forecast indicates that most of the day is expected to bring consistent downpours, thunderstorms, and unsafe outdoor conditions.
This was not an easy decision. With the uncertainty in the forecast, we held out as long as possible hoping conditions would improve. Unfortunately, the latest information shows that the weather will not allow us to safely enjoy the activities we have planned.
In the many years we’ve hosted Farm Camp, this is only the second time we’ve ever made the decision to cancel a camp day due to weather. We don’t make this choice lightly, but the safety of our campers, families, staff, volunteers, and animals will always come first.
We know everyone was looking forward to another fun day on the farm, and we’re just as disappointed as you are. A make-up day has already been scheduled, and we’ll be sending an email with all of the details very soon.
