If you're the type of bride that lives for all the color, we're vibin' with you! TBH I was a bit intimidated by this color palate and bringing it all together, but we're loving the final product. This bride has some killer style (obvi) and had some specific requests...

Emphasis on local blooms
Fresh herbs, especially rosemary, as a tribute to her mom
Long stems on the bridal party
She had some KILLER heels (not shown) that needed a complementary ribbon with... you guessed it. Long tails.

Our sisters at Little Brick Coffee rented out the Windward shop and studio for a private holiday party and terrarium making event! These girls dined and socialized and then got their hands dirty making some beautiful mixed media terrariums to enjoy well beyond the holidays. Thank you for joining us at the farm and for the amazing evening ladies!

After a great three days at Evolve, we're all nested back at the gift shop at the farm and here to support your holiday gifting needs.... We all have somewhere to be this month, so don't show up empty handed (my European sensibility is showing)

Deadline for holiday arrangements and local deliveries is Saturday 12/21 - Christmas falls mid week this year so we'll need to get our butts in gear earlier than usual.

LAST DAY of our Yuletide Shoppe at Evolve Shepherdstown !!!! We won't dare complain about the rain because we so desperately need it, but we do hope it doesn't stop you from stopping by and doing some shopping. Well be there until 7, unless otherwise posted here 🙂

Ps- The Warrior Blends is chef approved! Chef Paul of Bistro 112 stopped in to do a sampling and left with an assortment for his own kitchen at home.

How many times can you reorganize a small 15x15 space?..... A lot!

The gift shop is reorganized and we're working through items to make sure everything is clearly priced for your holiday shopping needs - speaking of shopping, the shop at the farm will be CLOSED Sunday 12/8 through Thursday 12/12 because of our Yuletide Shoppe at Evolve Shepherdstown from Monday 12/9 to Wednesday 12/11! In addition to our Windward made soaps lotions and lotions, we have some really cool vintage art and items, plants, wreaths, gourmet goodies and more that we're bringing.

We also have friends joining us!

We're baaaaaaaaaackkkkkkk! A little fatter than we were Wednesday BUT fully refreshed from a few days of good eats and Christmas movie marathons on the couch. This beauty is getting finished up and on the way to Hillbrook for a wedding tomorrow.

Well this Thanksgiving was one for the books! As most of you know, our well went dry last weekend and we've been working towards a solution. Amidst the stress and frustration that the dry well brought, we have so much to be thankful for!!!

♥️We had so many friends and neighbors reach out offering hot showers, water to fill totes, laundry rooms to do our wash.... you know who you are, and we thank you and love you for it!
💧H&H did an amazing job and stayed at the farm until 3 am on Thanksgiving morning to get us up and running. We're still working through some pump issues but they've been checking on us daily and we have a great plan in place to implement next week. They really are an incredible crew, and we appreciate their diligence!
🌺 One of my most loyal customers who I have never met in person was in town visiting family for the holidays and her and her husband stayed in our glamp - after months of chatting we finally got to meet and hug it out in person. It's clients like this that make me love what I do.
🐴 Cheers to new farm friends and an amazing lady who's been helping me get the flower farm squared away for the winter. I've been enjoying our teamwork and we're kicking a$$ and taking names out there - she also brought me some amazing scratch to sample for our birds.
🍺 Our family at PRB kept our spirits high and out well wet, and gave us a spot to line dance the morning of Thanksgiving. It really doesn't get any better than that.

Our hearts and bellies are full - we thank you for all the love and support! Here's to easier days ahead as we wind down the weekend and head into the most festive month of all 🎅

Grateful to our friends for letting us bum some water while we wait for the new well to happen. Speaking of festive, this cutie is going to to help everyone get in the holiday spirit!

Some wise words from an inspirational woman I know - it's never as bad, and it's never as good, as you think it is. This too shall pass and as long as we have our health and each other, that waters gonna flow again.

It's hard to believe that it's that time already but Thanksgiving week is upon us and it's time to get your orders in! Flower orders are due by EOD Saturday 11/23 for guaranteed delivery before Thanksgiving.

What: Custom flower arrangements for your Thanksgiving hosting needs! We'll supply the vessels OR we're always happy to work with yours - You'll need to drop it off at our shop at the farm.
When: Delivering Tuesday 11/26 and Wednesday 11/27
Where: We deliver to Shepherdstown and surrounding areas within a 15 miles radius from the farm. Shepherdstown delivery is $10, 15 mile radius is $15, beyond is $20 and up.
Why: Because we all need help hosting our friends and family, and what's a better way to give thanks than by supporting a local business!

Say hello to our little shop mascot Pony aka Ponayyyynay. We installed a cat door from the barn to the shop and needless to say....

You'll probably be seeing more of her since she's made herself quite at home in the shop. She loves the pets, will even give you a flirty kitty roll, and appreciates kitty treats and especially tiny cans of wet food as offerings to her highness.

We're toasting champagne this morning to officially announce the partnership between yours truly, Windward Blooms, and the gorgeous in Summit Point West Virginia! We'll be working with them to provide wedding blooms of all shapes and sizes, from their elopement packages to their more elaborate affairs, as well as their daily guest needs.

I'm continually honored and humbled to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing clients and businesses as we all lift each other up and grow together.

Now.... Off to wrap up a few things before and I head to our favorite restaurant to celebrate the end of our wedding season. There are several barrel aged Manhattans in my evening forecast.

🐥The farm page is still www.windward.farm - You can explore all things farm related, learn about us, and keep up to speed on our events and going ons, but ALL orders are being pushed to the Windward Blooms page. Don't worry, we've included intuitive links to help make it easy for you!
🌹 All orders, whether it be for flowers or farm goods for pickup, or items that we are shipping (yes, we ship gifts nationwide!!!), will be pushed through www.windwardblooms.com . We loved our old site but we really needed to streamline inventory and order status management and this new website will do just that for us.
