Bo Henry Band kicks it off Friday night 10/11 and Saturday's lineup from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. features Matt Rogers Band, Few Miles South, BACK IN THE SADDLE, Lee Pilcher Music, Stringonometry, Fiddling Contest with cash prizes & local Mandy Rice singing the National Anthem. Georgia Public Broadcasting program includes "On Second Thought" host Virginia Prescott GPB and an excerpt from Ken Burns' "Country Music" telling the story of Boudleaux and Felice Bryant. Plus loads of vendors, BBQ competition, Co****le Tournament, kids' fun...and it's all free in downtown Shellman!

Boudleaux Bryant played in two Western Swing bands - Atlanta's Hank Penny and the Radio Cowboys and Moultrie's Gene Mills & the Twilight Playboys. In celebration, the Boudleaux Bryant Festival presents Atlanta's premier Western Swing band BACK IN THE SADDLE, featuring Berné 'Frenchy' Poliakoff. Saturday 10/12 at 1 p.m. - free!

*all vendors must be set up by 9:30 and no vehicles allowed in park area
*10:00 -National Anthem- Mandy Rice
*10:15 -Lee Pilcher
*11:00 -"Country Music" clips and GPB’s Virginia Prescott interview ( inside depot)
*12 noon - Fiddling Contest
*12 noon- Last registration for corn hole tournament
* 12 noon- BBQ cookoff turn in for chicken
*1:00 -Back in the Saddle
*1:00- Co****le tournament Bags fly *1:00 - BBQ cookoff turn in for Ribs
*2:00 -Few Miles South
*2:00- BBQ cookoff turn in for Butts
*3:00 -Matt Roger's Band
*3:00 -announce winners of BBQ cookoff
*3:30 -50/50 cash raffle winner drawn & winner of cooler
*4:00 -Announce winners of Co****le tournament ( this will be determined by how many people have signed up- possible to go past festival time allotted )

Find out on Oct. 12 when Few Miles South, featuring Blake English and Tori Lund, takes a break from cross-country touring to perform at the Boudleaux Bryant Festival in Shellman, GA. With hints of ol' Hank anchored by a sturdy Telecaster twang, down-home harmonizing and a modern grit that nods to the spirit of Sturgill, the band has graciously added some choice Boudleaux and Felice Bryant compositions to their set!
