What a way to close out the weekend with Hannah and Brad! 🫶

For the second day in a row, Mother Nature decided to keep things interesting. 😅

We once again found ourselves watching the weather and hoping for a break, and thankfully we got one. Hannah and Brad were able to have the outdoor ceremony they envisioned, which made it all worth it. I love this photo of their wedding party and family praying over them. An amazing example of how it takes the support of so many people to really DO life.

The reception kicked off with one of the coolest wedding party entrances I’ve ever seen.

A “Morgan Wallen walk-in” style introduction that had the room fired up before the night even got started. It was the first time I’ve ever done one, and I’ll definitely be sharing a clip on that later. 😏

From there, the night was everything you could hope for.

Amazing food.
Great speeches.
Immaculate vibes.

And a dance floor that stayed packed all night long. 🔥

This crew came ready to celebrate!

We bounced through classic bangers, singalongs, throwbacks, and all kinds of genres, and they were right there for every second of it.

One of my favorite surprises came at the very end of the night.

Before the sendoff, everyone gathered to watch a same-day video recap put together by Shane from Such a cool way to relive the day before it was even over. Huge shoutout to him for making that and the intro happen!

Also a shoutout to I got to work alongside and her second shooter on back-to-back weddings Friday and Saturday, which was a lot of fun and a first for me!

It was a pleasure to work with Josie & Becky with at my first event at

Great vendors.
Great people.
Great celebration.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bellis! Thank you for trusting me to be part of such an incredible day. What an amazing way to spend a Saturday. 🥰

What a day for Cami and Josh! 🫶

Mother Nature decided to keep us on our toes with a little surprise drizzle that wasn’t on the radar until it was. 😅 We pushed the ceremony back about 30 minutes, but once the rain passed, everything came together beautifully. I got to work with some amazing musicians which made it extra fun!

After the ceremony, we moved the celebration indoors and the night rolled on with a great meal, a shortened cocktail hour, and some incredibly meaningful speeches.

We heard from siblings.
We heard from parents.
We heard from friends.

And one of my favorite parts of weddings is getting to hear people tell stories about the couple through the eyes of those who know them best. There was laughter, there were tears, and it was a great reminder of just how loved these two are.

One of the most touching moments of the night came during the special dances.

After Cami and Josh shared their first dance as husband and wife, they invited all fathers and daughters to join them during the father-daughter dance and all mothers and sons to join them during the mother-son dance.

The dance floor filled with multiple generations sharing those moments together.

It was a beautiful reminder that while a wedding day celebrates a couple, nobody gets there alone. Family, friends, mentors, and loved ones all help shape who we become and continue walking alongside us in the years ahead.

Then the party started… and it never really stopped. 🔥

This was my second wedding with Cami’s family, so it was great seeing so many familiar faces again. I also ran into another past couple who are now expecting their second child. Seeing former couples grow their families, build lives together, and reconnect years later is one of the most rewarding parts of this job.

Weddings are amazing.

Getting to see what comes after them is pretty special too.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Draaistra. Thank you for trusting me to be part of such an incredible day and for an unforgettable night! 🥰

Crazy Throwback Thursday, full circle moment. 🥹

Was scrolling through old photos trying to free up phone storage (as one does 😅) when I spotted a familiar face. Like a “wait, is that Madi whose wedding I JUST did?!” familiar.

Shot her a message and sure enough… it’s from prom 2021. 🤯

Fast forward 5 years and we just celebrated her and Tommy tying the knot at the beginning of this month in the SAME building, the beautiful .pavilion

As a DJ of a certain age, I’ve had the honor of doing someone’s prom and then their wedding a few years later. Always humbling, always grateful. But this may be the first time I’ve had photographic, random proof and that is just so fun to me. 📸

Hopefully not the last time. 🥰

This job is so trippy and I am here for every second of it. Shoutout to the prom girls who eventually become brides. 👑 Now I’m reliving prom and Madi’s wedding in a weird time traveling party in my head. 😂

It really be like that sometimes. 😏

People sometimes think DJs are just standing there listening to music and pushing buttons. 😅🎧

Meanwhile the internal checklist is looking something like:

✔️ Singalong with crowd
✔️ Find next song
✔️ Cue next song
✔️ Check request list
✔️ Make sure nobody asked for something important
✔️ Watch dance floor reactions
✔️ Back to singing again immediately 😂

It’s funny because a lot of DJing is basically controlled chaos.

You’re trying to stay present in the moment while also thinking 2 or 3 songs ahead at all times.

And for me… that’s part of the fun!

When it’s flowing right, it feels effortless to the crowd. But behind the booth there’s always a lot happening at once 🎶🔥

Today we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, cookouts, or the start of summer. It’s a reminder that freedom came at a cost paid by real people with families, dreams, stories, and loved ones who still carry that loss today.

I’m so grateful for the sacrifices made so we can gather freely with friends and family, celebrate life’s biggest moments, worship openly, and enjoy the simple things we often take for granted.

Please take a moment today to remember those who gave everything. And by all means, blast some classic American-celebrating tunes!

Thank you to the fallen, and prayers for the families who carry their memory forward. ❤️

Beautiful day for a beautiful couple. ☀️

Rylee and Xavier sure know how to throw a party!

Their goal was simple: an epic night with a packed dance floor. And after formalities and a great meal from Heck’s BBQ… the party was ON and did not stop AND included a few surprises along the way. 🐷🏈😏🎶🔥

At one point someone came up to me and said,
“They should’ve made the dance floor bigger!” 😅

Always a good sign.

I also got to run into some past couples throughout the night, including the sister of the bride whose wedding Scruff DJ’d back in the day. Moments like that always make these nights extra special for me. 🫶

Great people. Big energy. Awesome celebration. Great to link with again!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Galles!
Thanks for letting me celebrate with you. 🥰

One of the perks of being an open format DJ is getting to bounce between completely different worlds… and somehow keeping the energy moving. 🎧

This mix went from 2010s EDM with Feel So Close straight into Sweet Child O’ Mine and honestly… it just works. 😅 Shoutout to for another edit that slaps!

Big emotional dance music into one of the most iconic guitar riffs ever written.

Different genres.
Different eras.
Same energy.

That’s the fun part.

People already know the songs, but giving them a new twist or a different entry point makes them feel fresh again.

Stuff like this is why his edits are so fun. Familiar songs. Unexpected flips. Same big reactions. 🎶🔥

About 10 years ago I DJ’d a prom inside a giant dome set up in the middle of a gym. 😅🎧

My business partner (the homie Scruff!) and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so naturally we asked the obvious question:

“Can we DJ INSIDE the dome?”

To our surprise… they said yes. 😂

So there we were, tucked inside this giant structure in the middle of prom absolutely loving life.

It was loud. Hot. Chaotic. Probably not the most practical setup in the world. But man was it fun.

That night has stuck with me all these years later because it reminded me of something I’ve learned doing events:

You never really know which nights are going to become core memories.

Sometimes it’s the massive packed dance floors.
Sometimes it’s emotional moments.
And sometimes it’s just randomly DJing inside a giant dome in a gym thinking, “This is insane.” 😅

That’s part of why I still love doing this after all these years. You never know what story you’ll walk away with next.
