Blessing's Opera House The Blessings Opera House/J.G. Deprez Building was erected by John Blessing in 1869. The J.G. Deprez Building is an MFGS Property.

The building housed his hardware store on the first floor and an opera hall on the second floor. Today Blessing's Opera House operates as a wedding and event venue. The venue is located downtown Shelbyville, IN in the newly renovated downtown square. Blessing's Opera House is historic, beautiful, and unique. Blessing's Opera House has a bridal suite and groom's quarters. We also have a full bar an
