Today marks my final “WLIJ Saturday Mornin’ Progrum” as I take on General Manager roles at Hopkins Farms Broadcasting, and hand off the Saturday spot to the incredible Phyliss Kopp.

It was some 5 1/2 years ago that legendary WLIJ DJ Keith “The Godfather” Cook set me up to take over the Saturday shift at WLIJ-Shelbyville.

I’ve experienced a tremendous amount of professional growth over the years, experience speaking to you on the air, and I’ve been able to see first-hand the impact LIVE and LOCAL radio can have on individuals and the community.

Thank you for giving me that chance. It has been a joy to serve you and be your Saturday companion. Phyllis Kopp is a professional. She knows and loves the Saturday audience, and will do a fantastic job!

So, for one final time on the regular for a Saturday: God bless you, I’ll talk to you again very soon, and I’ll never, EVER, stop the music! 🎶
