On Saturday, August 20th, there will be a celebration of life picnic and jam session for Roger Tice. Roger passed away on September 15, 2021. This Thursday, August 17th would have been Roger's 85th birthday, which is why his wife Susan has planned Roger's celebration of life gathering on Saturday. We have lost many in the banjo/music community who remember and played music with Roger, especially those in the PA area. But if you feel inclined to come and jam, pick your instrument and beverage, food is provided and Susan is a delightful and appreciative host. However, if you can or would like to just post a word or two, celebrating Roger please post here. I will share them on Saturday. Message me for more information. Thank you. - Annie

Help support Jazz Banjo Radio, the only station dedicated to 4-string banjos hosted by our great friend and fellow 4-string player John Mumford. A great assortment of bands, solo artists, and tunes. The Keystone Banjo Bash website is in the process of being moved, so it may not be available. Any updates will always be posted here. We are trying to determine if there is any interest in the event for 2022, as prices have gone up and more restrictions about deposits and contract terms have changed. I miss the gathering, and I am always open to new ideas and projects so please communicate with your ideas. Thank you.

Thank you all who replied to my post. It appears the majority like to be "On My Own", for meals, so I will go with that. Yes, there are facilities nearby if not within the venue. My plan is to get Keystone back on track for 2022, which will be within the time frame of March 20th. Since I really do this all on my own, I welcome suggestions and tips for a successful festival.
