Had to stop at Hard truth Distillery before heading home today. VERY cool spot and beautiful in the fall. Grabbed some bourbon to take home. Definitely a must see when visiting Indiana.

A few more pictures of our brewery adventures from our trip last week. We enjoyed Lincoln & South in Hilton head. That place was hoppin’ on a Wednesday night! We also stopped by Hilton Head Brewing Company. They had some solid beers and on our way home, we had to spend the night in Knoxville and visit our old haunts, including the brewery where it all began! Tom proposed to me many moons ago (I will not say how many! 🤣) at the Knoxville Downtown Grill & Brewery We even sat at the same table where he proposed, and we were served dessert on the house! 🍨 Last picture is the two of us at the brewery the night he proposed. 💍 Not a surprise that it all began at a brewery! 🥰🍺

Traveling to Hilton Head to visit my folks, we always love to spend the night in Asheville and visit the breweries there. This year we stopped in and . Very cool breweries with solid beer! 🍺 Stayed at , very swanky and fantastic cocktails! 🍸

The Good, the bad, the ugly.

So I’m now officially a brewery wife. I’m married now to a brewery. Whether I like it or not, we have taken the plunge and my husband, Tom, his brother, and two other guys have partnered to open Third Eye Brewing Company. At first I was reluctant. Would we still lead the lifestyle that we’ve always led? Would we still be able to take vacations? Would I still be able to afford eyelash extensions?? Priorities people!!! But I knew that this was Tom’s dream and I knew it was something that he had to do. As the building has started to come to life I have to admit I’m getting excited about it. Seeing the roof going up and the cement floors being poured is pretty cool.

Some of you may know that I’m also a graphic designer by trade (www.bonniecollinsdesign.com). I also am founder of the Live Like Maya Foundation (www.LiveLikeMaya.org), a foundation that I created in honor of my daughter, Maya, who passed away after a valiant 6 1/2 year battle with leukemia. Designing and planning fundraisers brings me so much joy, and I’m finding that I’m able to apply these skills to the brewery! I’ve officially been given the title of Event Director for the brewery and I am privileged to be designing most of the marketing materials and collateral!

I’ve created this page to keep you all in the loop regarding the progress of the brewery. This page is going to be the “behind the scenes”... the good, the bad and the ugly of what it takes to run a brewery. To be the “wife of a brewery”. I have no idea what we have gotten ourselves into. It’s not going to be easy, I’m sure. It’s going to be a lot of work and dedication. But I’m in for the ride and as long as my hair stays intact and my lashes look good, everything else will surely fall into place, right??!! Lord help us. #ThirdEyeBrewingCompany #wifeofabrewery
