We still have 2 Fridays open in December (12/13 & 12/20) to host your holiday party in Turtle's 1890 Social Centre. The banquet hall is a fully restored historic building in Downtown Shakopee! It's best for groups of 50-200 people.

I can't say enough great things about Turtle's. They were so helpful with everything in the planning process. Bryan really knows what he is doing. They food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They were also super flexible in helping make sure we were able to get stuff done that we needed to. I would recommend this venue 10X to anyone who is looking for a great affordable wedding venue."

I can't say enough good things about this place and about Bryan! We did both our ceremony and reception at Turtle's 1890 Social Centre, and not only was the pricing the most reasonable of any venue we looked at, but they also included the most. No nickel and dime-ing you to death, their pricing is straightforward and included everything we needed. Tables, chairs, linens, dishware, all of it. And the food was awesome!! We did street tacos, and they were superb! All of our guests with special dietary needs were accommodated, and all the guests had great things to say about the food and the staff! The staff was friendly, professional, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. Bryan also went out of his way to get me my favorite beer for the reception (peanut butter porter) and I really appreciate that! The place is also gorgeous. Brick walls, tin ceilings, black and white tile floors, and a beautiful bar are the perfect backdrop for any event. Vintage and elegant, it was everything I could have asked for!

All events in Turtle’s 1890 Social Centre from 3/17-3/27 have been cancelled due to the order given by Governor Walz to close dine-in sales at restaurants. Room fee refunds will be issued on Thursday 3/19 and we would love to look at rescheduling your event at a later date once we know the ban has been lifted. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause

What an awesome venue! It is really unique and the staff is wonderful! Bryan and Barb were fantastic and handled everything for me. The food is amazing, the chef takes a lot of pride in providing nothing but the best. They include so much with just the small room fee, and help make your day uniquely yours. I would recommend Turtles to anyone looking for a fun venue that doesn't want to break the bank!"
