UPDATE:: Thank you to everyone that donated to help with these cats, the outpouring of love and support has been amazing! Our community is the best and I am eternally grateful! Since I posted this, Rogue Community Cats, (part of feral cat advocacy) an amazing group of people, assessed the situation and made it one of their priorities! They have captured aprox 30 cats and kittens and have been able to get some spayed and neutered, put into foster homes, given medical attention, and have been able to place some as barn cats to vetted farms and ranches!! They volunteer their time and energy and are dedicated to making a difference!! Please consider donating to RogueCats.org. We still have a ways to go but right now, my heart is HAPPY! I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for your love and generous support, which has enabled me to spay/neuter 65 cats. We have achieved a significant milestone with our first year of no unwanted litters, and our community is prospering thanks to your kindness! I am now seeking donations of cat food to support a different community of approximately 50 cats that have lost their caregiver. This community comprises 12 to 15 kittens and a larger number of juvenile and adult cats. Thankfully, there are compassionate individuals working to find forever homes for these cats. If you can provide assistance, please drop off your donations at my store, located at the corner of Heather Lane and Highway 62 in Shady Cove. Thank you in advance for your support, and if anyone is interested in volunteering to distribute food in the mornings and collect it at night, please visit me in-store. Does anyone recognize these items? The red box I found a couple of months ago. I found the bag this morning, it was on top of my forsythia bush. I am guessing that they were thrown over my fence at the same time. The little red box is empty but someone might be missing the bag. I will save it for whoever it belongs to

The flowers on the apostle are opening today! I watched it open. They only last a day so I am happy that I got to see it. They were donated to me (thank you Jill!) And are free for a small donation to the kitty fund. They are an indoor house plant.

"UPDATE " If anyone would be interested in FOSTERING some of these kitties, please let me know. There is a program that if someone commits to caring for them and can keep them indoors, they will take care of shots, spay/neuter, etc!! Please consider this and if you know anyone that might be willing, let them know. Thank you!.... PLEASE READ. There are several cats and kittens that are losing their caregiver and are in desperate need of homes. There are several that are sweet and friendly. It's a desperate situation as their caregiver is going to be gone in a little less than 2 weeks.
