🚨NOTICE🚨

3:55 update: We have water, but now a leak somewhere. Also NO internet so we will need to remain closed for a bit longer. At this point, we will not be able to open today and we'll plan to open at noon tomorrow. Come see us this weekend, we would love to see you!

We will be closed today until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our well pump has failed, likely due to storms last night, and we have no water currently. We are enroute to Indy to get parts and will update everyone as soon as we know something.

We are heading out to the rolling farmlands of Seymour to visit Lydia Grove Estate (formerly Chateau de Pique winery). Settled on 80 picturesque acres, this stunning historic property has recently returned to the Mellencamp family and is now owned and operated by Chad and Sarah “Sadie” (Mellencamp) Hubbard. We sit down with the family to discuss the inspiration behind the name "Lydia Grove"—honoring the last family member to steward the land generations ago—and their massive efforts to breathe new life into the historic 19th-century tasting room barn.

We are excited to continue to welcome SO many guests to Lydia Grove, but we want to clarify that we still are not currently offering wine tastings.

While we have a license that allows us to serve alcoholic beverages, we are still waiting for our federal licensing process to be completed before we can legally offer tastings of Lydia Grove-produced wines/beers so we are operating as a full bar/small kitchen at this time.

We know many of you are eager to try our wines, and trust us—we’re just as eager to share them with you! The licensing process takes time, but we’re getting closer every day.

In the meantime, come enjoy our beautiful property, live music, special events, food offerings, and beverages available under our current license.

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue building Lydia Grove. We can’t wait to raise a glass of Lydia Grove wine (and beer) with you soon! 🍇
