Chynjah, you are the one who made me a mom and a grandmother. From the very beginning, you have been by my side—even through some things you probably shouldn’t have had to be. But G-d had a plan. His plan was to make you not only my daughter, but one of my very best friends and a part of the healing of our family.

We have built and grown 5 businesses together, and through every one of them, we have learned the good, the bad, and the UGLY together! We’ve had hard seasons and easy ones, moments of laughter and moments of tears, but through it all, we kept growing together.

The calling on your life makes it hard for the women in our family to have “best girlfriends,” but through our bloodline, Father has allowed us to learn how to love one another and truly become each other’s best friends. And through that friendship, we have prayed together, cried together, laughed together, encouraged one another, and held each other up when life got heavy.

You are such a beautiful sister to all of your siblings—even the bonus ones. ❤️ You are always ready to stand up for them, protect them, and take a stand when they need you.
And when Father said:
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made” — Psalm 139:14
He truly wrote that verse with YOU in mind. ❤️

You are beautiful inside and out, Chynjah. I am so proud of the woman, mother, sister, businesswoman, and friend you have become. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

LET’S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING A LITTLE TOUCHY… 🤎

I get DMs quite often saying, “You don’t photograph brown brides” or “You don’t photograph melanated brides.”

So let me say two things.

ONE: I photograph whoever books me. 😂

I honestly don’t know how to say that any other way. I love all races, all brides, and all people. If you hire me, I am going to give you my absolute all. Your skin color has never and will never determine how I photograph or serve you.

TWO: I haven’t photographed a lot of Black brides. And I think part of the reason is simply that my style isn’t normally the style most Black brides are looking for.

Every person, no matter their race, has a style they love. A lot of Black brides tend to gravitate toward that LaJoy Photography type of look—very polished, crisp, sharp, luxury, romantic and refined. Others love a more moody, dramatic look or something adventurous and rustic.

And that’s okay!

I’m not offended by that at all. Your style is your style, and my style is my style.

But would I LOVE to photograph more Black brides? ABSOLUTELY.

And not just Black brides.

I would LOVE to photograph more Asian brides, Indian brides, Jewish brides, Hispanic brides, and brides from cultures I haven’t had the opportunity to work with yet.

Not because of skin color. Because of PEOPLE.

I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, seeing different traditions, and telling stories that are different from what I normally get to photograph.

So if you’re a bride from a culture or background I haven’t photographed much before and you LOVE my work...

I would absolutely love to work with you. 🤎

Your skin tone isn’t something I need to “learn how to photograph.”

I’m bringing STRANGER SESSIONS to the DFW / Seymour / Witchia Falls -area Torah & Messianic community, and I’m looking for SINGLE men and women, ages 18+, who are willing to step outside their comfort zone and trust the process! 🤍

This isn’t your typical dating event. There will be NO swiping, no profiles, and no choosing who you’re paired with.
