An elegant and rustic East Tennessee wedding and event venue. Seated on over fives acres in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, The Cardinal’s Nest boasts an idyllic outdoor chapel in a picturesque setting to provide the perfect backdrop for a unique wedding or private event for up to one hundred and twenty five guests. The Cardinal’s Nest offers clients a host of additional amenities, including

two onsite cabins to serve as bridal suite and groom’s quarters or as private retreats for corporate events. The venue also boasts an open-vendor policy, allowing clients to bring in the vendors of their choice, including catering, making it a beautiful and budget-friendly option for hosting events. The event coordinators at The Cardinal’s Nest have partnered with premiere vendors in the Smoky Mountain area to provide exceptional service and are available to assist in planning the perfect affair.

There’s something really sweet about rehearsals 🖤

The laughs, the “wait… where do I stand?” moments, the excitement, the nerves, and watching it all start to come together before the big day.

Tonight was extra special because it was our very first rehearsal at Leather Bound Hollow, and seeing this place filled with people and memories in the making made it all feel a little more real.

Tomorrow is wedding day ✨

From the front gate to the ceremony space, first look bridge, reception tent, and cabin… Leather Bound Hollow is slowly becoming everything we dreamed it would be.

There’s still work happening behind the scenes, late nights, and plenty of coffee involved 😅 but watching this place come to life has been pretty surreal.

We’re getting ready for our very first rehearsal and we cannot wait to start helping couples create memories here in the Smoky Mountains.

We’ve officially started the process of expanding into FULL SERVICE Smoky Mountain micro weddings & elopements throughout the state parks in and around Sevierville, Tennessee!

Think Leather & Lace Wedding & Event Co. Beach Weddings… but in the mountains. 🌲

We’ll be offering all-inclusive packages for intimate weddings in some of the most beautiful locations East Tennessee has to offer — including overlooks, wooded ceremony spots, cabins, creeks, and more.

Packages will include options such as:
• Officiating
• Photography
• Ceremony music
• Florals & decor
• Directing assistance
• Timeline coordination
• Styled setups
• Elopements & tiny weddings

Some of y’all may remember the old wagon sitting at the entrance of the venue… 🤍

And honestly? We know a lot of people were worried when it started falling apart. There was even talk at one point about getting rid of it completely. But the more we looked at it, the more we realized this wagon is part of the soul of this place.

So instead of hauling it off, we’re rebuilding it. Piece by piece. Board by board. Wheel by wheel.

It may not happen overnight, but we’re determined to bring it back to life and preserve the history and character that made so many people fall in love with this venue in the first place.

This place deserves to keep its stories… and this old wagon has a lot of them. 🤎

Watching Mika out there in the Tennessee heat tearing into rotten wood and figuring out how to save what he can honestly says everything about the kind of heart going into this property. We’re not here to erase what was loved before us — we’re here to restore it, care for it, and slowly make it beautiful again.

Can’t wait to show y’all the transformation. ✨
