One of the common misconceptions about our ship is that it's "only for kids." We have seen parents hold back from coming aboard with their children, convinced it's an attraction for people far younger than they.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Although our ship is outfitted with a slide, we like to think that we are a family attraction - all it takes abandonment of the stuffy belief that adults can't have a little childlike wonder. ✨️

Introducing the latest member of our crew - Peggy! She talks, dances, sings, and she sometimes even gives kisses. She adores people, but has an aversion to crabs (don't ask why). She's very sweet and can't wait to make an appearance at our upcoming events this year!

Our next port will be at the Walden Artisan & Music Market in Pigeon Forge, TN this Friday and Saturday. It's free to all patrons, so why not venture our way and take part in our escapades? One of our favorite things overheard today at Kern’s - Knoxville, TN Pirates of the Caribbean movie night tonight:

*offers child doubloon*
Child: What's this written on the back? Another language? Greek?! I know what it says - GUACAMOLE! I love guacamole!

He then proceeded to show everyone his "very powerful" guacamole coin, and told us with absolute certainty that the "Avocado islands were safe!"

That's why we do what we do. Their imagination transforms our ship into a galleon, the pavement into a rolling sea, and us, their faithful captain and first mate (although they did mutiny a few times). Without them, we would only be two people on a ship with wheels. Their creativity conjures adventures from the smallest items, and we love re-learning how to see the world through their eyes. 🧭

Yesterday was the first time we've been inside a mall as privateers, and it was a time to remember! From privateering, facepainting, and balloon twisting, we were glad to serve the Morristown community with a dash of our own distinctive panache.

Tomorrow our glorious vessel, the Party Pearl, will be transformed into a revolutionary-war privateer ship at the College Square Mall! We will be celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. 🎉

But what of Percy and Roger?

Tomorrow we'll have our own makeover to more accurately capture the spirit of American privateers in the late 18th century.

But never fear! Our mission of fun remains unchanged and we look forward to seeing you there, adventurer!

Not us reminiscing about the wonderful time we had at the East Tennessee Renaissance Faire! It's one of our favorite events of the year and we had the opportunity to debut our new show, Trials of the Deep! 🫧

If you missed us at the faire, never fear! You can see us at the College Square Mall this month, June 27th, for America's 250th birthday. We will have FREE balloon twisting and facepainting to commemorate the occasion. We hope to see you there! ☠️
