Reminder; May Day is tomorrow!

For the folks that did not get to the shop - we love you so much that we will open for limited hours 9:30-11:30! We will not have ribbons but any way of showing will work too.

International Women’s Day is today & I’ve had a hard time coming up with the right words to share. For those who don’t know- my name is Megan and I own Peaceful Petals. But celebrating this day is not just for small business owners - it is for every woman & their achievements on this Earth.

In addition to being a business owner - I am a mom of 3 beautiful children. And 23 days ago I found out my four year old son has an inoperable brain tumor. It was February 13th - the day before Valentines Day. For the florists out there, you know this is a big day for business.

But this year - I couldn’t be at the shop. I had to be at my son’s bedside as we prepared him for a 9 hour craniotomy (to relieve pressure and send to pathology). I had to lean on my crew of women who didn’t reach out to me once that day & achieved a flawless & very busy Valentine’s Day.

I am posting today to thank those women. The amazing women in my corner who supported me this last month & continue to everyday as we navigate this new life.

Peaceful Petals has been such a labor of love & I ask that you continue to support us. Support me and the wonderful women in my shop.

Thank you 🙏 and happy international women’s day to all of you amazing women.
