I’m back from BBQ hiatus! Retiring from the military has been fun, but it’s definitely a lot. If you know a veteran, reach out and thank them!

On to the fun stuff! We have a few things happening in Meat Fitz this year:

- SWAG will be on sale come March! I’ll post when preorders are ready to go!

- Thanksgiving turkeys are an awesome cook for me! So, for every customer this year, they will be entered in for a chance to win a free thanksgiving turkey!

- Hoping to get the circuit in the spring/summer, working pop ups, festivals, and food markets! A lot of things need to fall into place, but I’m hopeful!

- In preparation for getting on the circuit, I’m pushing a ton of briskets in March! Reach out for a discounted price during that time!

A year ago I spun up Meat Fitz BBQ. I woke up and decided to chase a dream. Thanks to everyone for supporting this dream. Special thank you to Stony Man Coffee & Donuts for answering all my crazy questions and Kevin Mechlingfor making sure i don’t drop it completely. Btw, go check them out, best coffee in MD and an awesome realtor, respectively. Though it’s on pause so i can finish transitioning, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ll be back in 2024!

Thank you to everyone that supported and/or came out yesterday! It’s nice coming together and helping someone out! Big thank you to the Viking booster club and their family who came in super clutch! It wouldn’t of happened without them! Big thank you to the folks that came to help set up and get ready! Ya are awesome! And again, thanks to everyone that supported!

I learned a lot from the business side of things. First off, mad respect to the service Industry. I’ve been on my feet for the better part of two days…whew. I also learned i can’t do this and grow Meat Fitz solo (duh). So I’m going to take a mini break, regroup and get things in line for summer! I’ll see ya in June!
