In 2004, Seminole residents approved a bond initiative to construct a wellness center for area residents to regain healthy lifestyles. Reynolds Foundation invited Seminole to apply for a Community Centers Initiative grant to assist with the realization of our dream. They approved Seminole's application in late 2007 for $7.9 million to pay for the entire center - construction, equipment, furniture,

and landscaping. Reynolds to the public and officially opened its doors to the public. Reynolds Foundation:

Founded in 1954, the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation seeks to honor the memory of its benefactor, for whom it is named, by filling unmet needs and attempting to gain an immediate, transformational impact.
