Hello everyone!
Sorry for the late post.
Over the last 1 and a half years, I have been doing something that I love doing. Cooking and researching nutrition. If you don't know me, you might wonder what I know about the 2.
In 2012, I hit a weight of 408 pounds. I had severe depression and had no idea the impact I was putting my body and mind through. I felt I was at my wits end. Until one day I just made the decision to try to lose some weight.
It took me 22 years to get to 408 pounds and a half second decision to start changing that. I started slow. Walking at first. This eventually turned into jogging, which turned into casual strength training, which turned into a powerlifting obsession.
It took me 22 years to take real action for myself and then another year or 2 to fully understand the discipline it takes to keep it up.
Over the past year and a half, I have been cooking food in the hopes of helping people realize that they can do this too. But what I didn't realize is that it takes more than just making their food for them. Sometimes it takes encouragement and sometimes it takes brutal honesty.
So, why am I making this post? To let you know that I want to take this to a better place. I went into this venture with nothing more than a few black boxes, a griddle, and great desire to help people ease the burden of diet. Very little planning went into this and it shows on my end.
I have been fortunate enough to have a great community support what I do and see what I see. But without a real plan, I'm going nowhere.
I'm going to be stepping back for a while. For a few weeks or even a few months. I want to take the time to create a plan that can have a real impact on people whether it be from self education or the food itself.
To all of my customers that have gone in and out throughout this whole thing, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you, I wouldn't be doing this and I definitely wouldn't have made it this long without your encouraging words and feedback.
With that being said, I will still be cooking food. If you need food prepared, please contact me via message or email: [email protected] and we can figure something out. I'm not a doctor, but I can provide information on certain diets that have worked for me personally that you can look over and discuss with your doctor to see if it'd be a fit for you. I can help prepare grocery lists to help you stick to what you're already doing or to just give a better idea of what you can do to make your life better.
I am capable of helping while I'm thinking about plans for this. So, if you need it, please don't hesitate to ask. Rates will be available upon inquiry for everything.
If you see this and you've read this far, I thank you for taking your time out to do so. I hope you all have a great week and I look forward to replying to questions you may have.
