Weddings & Events at the Red Barn The Texas Agricultural Education and Heritage center is a non-profit organization that strives to educate the public how agriculture helps their everyday life.

Mission:

The Mission of the Center is to educate the public and our young people about the importance of agriculture in our society and to promote the heritage of farming and ranching in Texas. Objectives

The objectives of the Texas Agriculture Education and Heritage Center are to:
Teach the public and young people where food and fiber come from
Have large numbers of school students and young pe

ople to visit the Center, learn about agriculture and the value it has brought to our country
Be a tourist attraction that will bring people from Texas, the U.S. and beyond to visit and learn about the heritage of the area
Develop a farming village of the 19th century, and
build the Texas dome to tie the Center together and have displays on all periods of Texas History. Attractions:

Pecan Fest and Heritage Days (October)
Country Christmas (December)
School and Organization Tours (As scheduled)

Wedding photo tip: Plan a cocktail hour! 🍸🍷 You’ve spent hours planning your wedding details, and we want to be sure and take photos of your hard work! Planning a cocktail hour (in a different room/location from your reception area) ensures we’ll be able to take photos of your place settings, center pieces, etc. before your reception area is full of guests.

A cocktail “hour” isn’t necessarily an hour long – sometimes it needs to be longer (sometimes shorter) depending on how far your ceremony site is from your reception site, how many family photos we’re taking after the ceremony, etc. Have questions? Let us know! We’ll help you plan a custom timeline that will allow plenty of time for photos of your reception details! -Jenn & Kaylinn

What a great weekend we had!! Thank you to all of the Tractor Pull participants, Tri-County Pullers, 42-Tournament Contestants and volunteers, Farmers Market Vendors, our community that came and supported us, our AMAZING Red Barn family of volunteers and of course our sponsors!!
