🏆 Seguin City Manager Steve Parker has recognized Josh Newboles, Brian Hilz, Alex Luna & George Duran with the City of Seguin Facilities staff with a Making a Difference Award in honor of their outstanding dedication, professionalism, and exceptional teamwork during a recent overhaul of the Police Department’s Property and Evidence Room. 🏆

From disassembling and relocating shelving units to repainting the facility and installing new hardware — all under an extremely tight timeframe — this team truly went above and beyond.

Their work made a meaningful impact on the department and perfectly exemplify what it means to make a difference through service. 👏

It’s time to clean out those garages, sheds, and backyards! Bring your unwanted items to Fall Clean-Up Day – a FREE event for residents inside Seguin city limits.

✅ Accepted items include:
• Furniture
• Scrap metal
• Junk & bulky waste
• Automobile tires (limit 10 per household)
• Appliances (no freon)
• Sensitive documents/papers for shredding (limit 2 boxes or bags)

🚫 Not accepted: hazardous materials, brush/limbs, fences, sheds, construction debris, appliances with freon, tractor/mower/bike/ATV tires, or tires from businesses.

Take advantage of this chance to properly dispose of items not picked up curbside.

🍂 Fall Clean-Up Day is almost here! 🍂

Seguin residents are invited to take part in this FREE event on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8 am – 12 pm at the Seguin Coliseum (950 S. Austin St.).

👉 Important: Please enter from Fred Byrd Drive – staff will be onsite to guide you.

✅ Items Accepted:
Furniture, scrap metal, junk, automobile tires (limit 10 per household), appliances (WITHOUT FREON) & more. Paper shredding also available.

❌ Do NOT Bring:
- Hazardous materials or chemicals
- Brush/limbs
- Construction debris (fences, sheds, etc.)
- Appliances with Freon
- Tractor, mower, bike, or ATV tires
- Tires from local businesses

📌 Proof of residency is required.
