Scorpio ESports

Scorpio ESports Scorpio eSports is sim racing and real-world driver development platform founded by former professional racer Ivan Taranov and backed by Scorpio Motorsport.

We bridge the gap between Gran Turismo 7 and real-life motorsport with exclusive series. Scorpio eSports is the only private sim racing team backed by a real-world racing outfit — Scorpio Motorsport. We operate elite GT7 championships, scout top-tier drivers, and provide structured coaching and career support. Our mission is simple: take sim racers and shape them into real racers. Here sim racing performance turns into real-world racing opportunity.

TBT: Scorpio Motorsport on the podium in Round 1 of GB4 2026 with novice driver Archie Davies, while Romuald Bocquet took the win in Race 3 before being handed a penalty for a jump start on the third start following two restarts. Starting from P1 for all three starts, Romuald held onto the lead and crossed the line first every time until the chequered flag.

The team is proving again and again that with the right preparation, coaching, and car setup, it’s possible to fight for wins, even when entering one of the most competitive single-seater series with two novice drivers.

SSF INSIDER | NEW ISSUE OUT NOW

This one is different.

In this issue, we take a moment to remember two drivers who left a lasting mark on motorsport. Juha Miettinen and Alessandro Zanardi were more than competitors, they were symbols of passion, resilience, and what racing truly means. We honour their legacy the only way we know how: by racing, and by remembering.

Alongside that, we take a hard look at what’s happening on track. Daytona delivered one of the most incident-heavy races we’ve seen, raising serious questions about standards, discipline, and whether it’s finally time to introduce safety cars into SSF.

We also break down the current state of the championship: S2K’s relentless dominance, rising tensions across the grid, and a paddock that’s starting to ask difficult questions.

And next… we head to Italy. A brand new challenge awaits at Lago Maggiore - fast, flowing, and unforgiving.

Read it. Reflect on it. And as always… race better.

If you thought the Miami GP weekend was over… think again.

Tonight, it’s just getting started.

Out of drivers from around the world, only the top 30 made the cut and three of them are from Scorpio eSports. Timothy Friis Larsen, Tristan Englestad, and Alexander Strobel will go head-to-head with F1 star Oscar Piastri in a special Miami showdown in the McLaren 720S.

A slightly calmer week… but still plenty on track

After a busy stretch of real-world racing in GB4, things ease off a little, but the competition doesn’t stop.

Stanley and Charlie are back in BSRC action, this time in Super Formula, while SF Grandmaster Timothey jumps into the weekly top split to keep things sharp.

We also take on one of the biggest challenges of the season, the iRacing Nürburgring 24H, teaming up with our friends and partners at Sim Racing Nation.

Let’s go.

Charlie Devlin made a miracle during the latest race of the BSRC (British Sim Race Cup), where he was taken out while leading, dropped to 17th, and managed to win. It is one of the most competitive series, where circuits and cars change weekly. The level of drivers is extremely high, few of which also race in real life quite successfully. Charlie was P17, slowly making his way up. In short, he was only 1 of 2 cars in the field who managed to save enough fuel to do the full race without refuelling, and in addition to that - pass 15 cars on track, and catch up his offender to finish just 4 seconds behind him in the end. We wasn’t sure if the winner would get a penalty, but thanks to the right decision of the stewards he did, promoting Charlie to the well deserved victory. The point of this is not the result itself, it’s the way it was achieved.

Stanley Rolfe also had a very strong race to finish 12th, while preserving fuel and tyres very well. Watch the next round tonight, as we take Super Formula cars to Silverstone!

What if winning a race had very little to do with being the fastest, but everything to do with how many things you haven’t even thought about you can control; this is a story about a million tiny factors that decide everything and why drivers like Devlin and Larsen might already understand that better than most.

Scorpio eSports Joins ARL Touring Car Britain 2026

We are proud to announce that Scorpio eSports will compete in the 2026 season of the ARL Touring Car Britain Championship - one of the most competitive touring car series in sim racing.

The 2026 championship mirrors the real-world BTCC format, featuring 10 meetings across the season, each including qualifying and 3 sprint races per round, with reverse grids and bonus points adding to the intensity.
Races take place on Thursday evenings and are professionally broadcast live from the Apex Racing TV Esports Studio, delivering a high-level production environment for teams, drivers, and fans.

This season is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with:

* 49 drivers on the grid
* 30 teams competing
* A full multi-class structure across Pro, Pro-Am, and Am divisions

Scorpio eSports will be competing across all three classes, entering three teams:

1. Scorpio eSports
Timothy Friis Larsen
Charlie Devlin
Reece Wills

2. Scorpio Sakura Engineering
Alex Strobel
Tristan Engelstad
Ryan Stringer

3. Scorpio RaceGen Academy
Ivan Taranov
Stanley Rolfe

This marks an exciting step for our organisation as we continue to expand into top-level international competition while maintaining our core mission: developing drivers and creating pathways from sim racing to real-world motorsport.

We invite all our partners, members, and followers to tune in to the live broadcasts (link in bio and in comments) and support our drivers throughout the season. With large grids, close racing, and professional coverage, this promises to be one of the most exciting championships of the year.

Let’s go racing!

Race day at Knockhill delivered the goods

An incredible performance in the Motorsport UK British Sim Racing Cup saw Charlie Devlin take a superb Race 1 victory in the FF1600.

Race 2 brought a reverse grid challenge, and on debut, Stanley Rolfe impressed with a strong P9 finish; a confident start and plenty more to come.
