Unfortunately the gorgeous 5 dogs that we brought to Barktoberfest did not get adopted. So Highlands County Animal Services wants to still honor the special adoption price that they were at Barktoberfest.
Each one will have an adoption fee of $25 and they can go home with you that day!!!

Are there any adventurous weirdos like me who enjoy doing things most people will never get the chance to do?

Anyone want to try some cockatoo eggs? 👀🥚 If you’re curious enough to give them a shot, send me a message before I eat them…In my opinion, they taste just like chicken eggs—just a little more delicate. And honestly? Pretty damn good in an egg sandwich! 🥚

I’m not saying everyone needs to try something unusual, but life is short, and I’m definitely the person who says, “Well… I’ve never tried THAT before. Let’s see what happens.” 🤣

🐴 HI! I’M KY! 🐴

I’m 31 years old, and I have no back teeth. Because of that, I have a very special diet of horse soup every day. 🥣💜

Every now and then, I make my way over to the fence for treats. That’s why Mom put special, small treats in the feeders just for me. They’re small enough that I can swallow them safely without choking.

🚨 PLEASE DO NOT BRING OUTSIDE FOOD FOR US! 🚨

I know you mean well, but outside treats can upset all of our tummies—and in my case, I could choke on something that’s too big or hard. That could put me in serious trouble before Mom even notices.

And let me tell you…if Mom watches the cameras and finds out who gave me something I wasn’t supposed to have…

YOU MIGHT GET MY MOM PUT IN JAIL! 😱😂

So please, help Mom keep all of us safe and healthy:

They were chosen specifically with our safety and health in mind.

Unfortunately the "runt" of the litter didn't make it😪. These 3 porkers however are doing great and have their eyes open. They are available for adoption and will be ready for their new homes Nov. 20th. They get handled daily and will be super friendly!💜💜
