Kayla Cook Events Event Planning, Production & Event Design | We plan events for a living and throw parties for fun✌🏼 Hi! I’m Kayla, owner and lead planner of Kayla Cook Events.

We are already excited you’re considering us, and we’d be honored to collaborate with you to design and manage the event you’re dreaming of. As for me, it all began back in 2008 when I started my career coordinating weddings and events at the Golf Club at Newcastle. There I found my forte for design and love of events and weddings. The wedding world opened my eyes to new opportunities and I eventu

ally transitioned into the wine industry. I began managing events all over the country for Seattle based, Precept Wine where I further grew my expertise and passion for event planning, travel and wine. In 2014, I left the wine industry and ventured into the Cannabis industry working for Leafly, an online cannabis resource. There I strengthen my skills in creating brand experiences, sponsorship negotiations, event design and production. I spent the next four years directing an events team, traveling and creating events all over the world from Los Angeles to Berlin, Germany. In the midst of the corporate hustle, I launched Kayla Cook Events. My business started as a creative outlet and I initially thought of it as more of a hobby. It was only a few years before I realized I had an entrepreneurial side and a desire to leave the corporate world to operate Kayla Cook Events full time. Best decision I’ve ever made (well, except for marrying my best friend in 2018)! Today, my husband and I live in Kirkland, WA and enjoy our energetic Australian Labradoodle. I like to keep a busy schedule and I’m usually either running between client meetings, onsite at an event, or designing our next project. I’m truly love living every day immersed my passion - creating beautiful events and working with people that inspire me. About Kayla Cook Events

🍂 Here’s to gatherings that feel warm, cozy, and full of connection — right down to the first sip. This Apple Cider Mimosa is my go-to for Thanksgiving: festive, simple, and just the right amount of sparkle. ✨

A little apple cider, a splash of Prosecco, and a dash of cinnamon magic — the perfect pairing for your holiday table. 🥂

Apple Cider Mimosas Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
Splash of apple cider
Chilled Prosecco
Sugar & cinnamon mix (for ri***ng the glass)

Instructions:
1. Rim your glass with the sugar and cinnamon mix.
2. In a shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, cinnamon, nutmeg, and apple cider. Shake well. 3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
4. Top with chilled Prosecco.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

About Me

Thank you for visiting my page! I'm so glad you are here.

I started my career 15 years ago in the wedding industry at The Golf Club at Newcastle. There I found my niche for design and love for weddings. The wedding world opened up new opportunities and, in the spirit of festivity, I eventually transitioned into the wine industry working for the Seattle based company, Precept Wine and ran events for its national brands. I grew my expertise and passion for event planning, travel and wine.

In the midst of the hustle, I launched Kayla Cook Events. I started this business as a creative outlet and initially thought of it as more of a hobby – something to keep my creative side alive. After a few years in the corporate event space, I realized I had a hunger to create and design events and wanted to follow that passion full-time, on my own schedule. I truly enjoy the fast-paced environment event life brings and I love working with people, whether it’s planning a dream wedding or executing a large event or conference. Along the way, job referrals have traversed traditional events and delved into staging and interior environments. Both share a common thread: setting the mood. I do that! My approach is details, organization and seamless ex*****on. I have a penchant for design and natural eye for details. The challenge to create something new fuels my creativity. People—my clients—serve as my first source of inspiration. I draw ideas from hearing their stories, their goals, and their nuances. From there it’s a collaborative process I’m more than comfortable stewarding for great results.

Today, I live in a suburb of Seattle called Kirkland with my husband and we are enjoying being newlyweds, as we just tied the knot in November! I rarely have a “normal day.” I’m usually running between meetings with clients, onsite at an event or designing something for the next project. I like to stay busy; I think it’s wired in my DNA. I’m truly loving living everyday in my passion - creating beautiful events and working with people.
