During our initial meeting, she made it known she wanted to get to know us on a deeper level and she was so easy to connect with. Even before the official start of our coordination period, she stayed in touch throughout the year, making it feel like she was a long-time friend.

In the month leading up to the wedding, Alice was on top of everything! She helped us organize our timeline, answered all of our questions (always available to chat), and helped us through the details we overlooked. When she took over vendor communications, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders! She took into account everything we wanted and helped us incorporate it all. I guess it’s time to make an official announcement. Events with Alice has a new update. I have accepted a new position for a job that I am very excited about. Last week I started working for the Lynnwood Police Department as their newest Crime Prevention Specialist. My job consists of running our volunteer programs and helping with events in the community. So I get to continue to do what I love: serving people. But now I get to do it in a new capacity!

What this means for my small business: I am still continuing to take clients and will offer the exceptional service you all have come to know for the last five seasons of my wedding career. However, I will be taking on a lot less clients next year. I will only be taking on five clients next year instead of 20 or more like I used to. This does mean that my interview process with potential clients will truly determine if we are a good match and that our values align in so many aspects of what a wedding is all about.

My vendor friends who have supported me so much over the years: I am still here and I will always continue to support you no matter what! You’ve all been my favorite colleagues and we’ve been through so much together serving others in the ways that only you can. You’ve all inspired me and encouraged me so much. This is not goodbye and this is not the end, but I will probably not be able to work with a lot of you for a long time or ever again. But if you ever have a heart to give back to your local city and Police Department in Lynnwood, please send me a message and let’s work together again to make an even bigger impact.

“If it wasn’t for Alice, I am not sure how I would have executed our wedding. Alice was the pillar of support and strong foundation in making this event happen.

Her experience goes without saying and really reduced time to make decisions when my fiancee and I were stuck at coming to many decisions. As many vendors that have worked with Alice can testify, she is truly mega organized and it really showed when I saw her working with other vendors on the day of the wedding.
Alice knows how to keep the couple away from all the unexpected surprises that may pop up on the day of wedding so that we are just enjoying our day as she works her magic to deal with them all behind the scenes. There are so many things that I found out the next day that Alice helped resolve without getting it to me and when I asked her about it her response was, ‘how did you know, you weren’t supposed to know!’.

Unlike other planners, when we reached out to get to know her service, she wanted to know about us as a couple before anything. At first I wasn’t sure why she focused so much on it but after working with her now I realized why. Being able to work together and vibing well is super important in pulling off such a big event and Alice knows all the key elements to creating such an experience for all.

She was there to support and offered help when we had to have difficult conversations with vendors and she was there all the way. We felt nothing but love and support from Alice and that she truly wants to make sure that we pull this off well together. She kept us in check to make sure we are on schedule and her working her magic and solving problems when things went sideways amazed me.

Alice is the reason why I felt at ease and was able to enjoy our wedding, I cannot recommend her enough and if you get to work with her, you are the lucky ones.”

Real question: Will all wedding entertainment be measured against the high bar Susan and Joseph has set? 🪩🍾😎ABSOLUTELY. No doubt. They had the most thoughtful and FUN wedding celebration, including a DIY flower station for guests to create their own centerpieces and take home, they had their whole wedding party and fathers officiate the wedding, they danced a choreographed wedding entrance, grand entrance, parent dances, AND a surprise dance for the groom that the bride, her older sis and friend SLAYED! On top of that, they had entertaining games and even a raffle where among a few gifts, a guest won a Nespresso machine!

What a generous, heartfelt and happy wedding. The couple was so in love, surrounded by their favorite people who flew from all over to be with them. And I was especially honored because Susan is basically a little sister that I watched grow up (her older sister is my best friend of nearly 20 years!). I am so proud of you, Susan and Joseph!!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day. Always cheering you on!

I loveeeee when my clients go all out in their LOVE for each other and for others! Andy and Kaitlyn pulled all the stops: such cute, thoughtful decor, a coffee welcome hour, DIY floral station, karaoke, Korean traditional Paebek, braving the stormy day and getting married in the rain (classic Seattle romance), and did I mention that the bride spent a whole year making 150 handmade mugs for guest party favors? (More pics of details from this wedding to come!!)

What a memorable day! You could feel all the joy and love, generosity, heart, gratitude and thoughtfulness emanating from not only the couple but from their family, wedding party and guests. I’d do it all over again for Kaitlyn and Andy 🩵✨ Thank you for trusting me with your wedding day!

Where do I even possibly begin? James and Sabrina’s wedding in May had to be the most colorful, sweetest, eventful, fun and-love filled day ever. We had planned for over a year for this beautiful day where we had not only one but TWO ceremonies! There was a Catholic ceremony in the morning at the church and then a Nepali Hindu ceremony at the hotel with a dinner and dance reception to follow. They danced until their feet were sore and many laughs and tears were to be had. The day was as beautiful as the couple’s love for one another. They are the most thoughtful, kind, gentle, generous and sweetest people I know, and I couldn’t be happier for what a marvelous day we had!

Shout out: Can we give it up for Krista and her mind blowing hard work to make floral dreams come true? 🥰

Normally these ceremonies go for days, but we had condensed down to 2 hours! I am so proud of James and Sabrina. Their love truly inspires and has left a lasting impression on my heart. If you are wondering what marrying your best friend looks like, Lily and Nico are it! And talk about a FUN wedding, Lily and Nico sure know how to host a party! After working together for nearly a year, we celebrated their beautiful union early May at Court in the Square surrounded by their lively, loving guests and luxurious florals by Calla Rose! We took photos in the classic Seattle spring rain with Sola and Sam Lee, ate and drank through the night thanks to the venue’s bar and the all too wonderful Tall Chef Catering, and danced through the night with DJ Henski. Not to mention a fun photo booth with Photo Box and not only one but TWO claw machines from Lena / Insaiyan (twas a hit, especially with the kids, big and small, haha). And although Fry, their beloved dog, wasn’t at the venue physically, he was definitely there in cardboard, I mean spirit (thanks Voyage Prints)! To end the night, we danced til the very last second with late night snack noodles in classic Chinese to go boxes in hand, and the rest still standing headed off to the afterparty at Muse!

I loved every second of planning and celebrating these two, and I am so happy we get to continue to do life together as friends!! Lily and Nico - thank you for trusting me with your planning process, for making each moment fun and lighthearted, and for becoming such good friends in my life I never knew I needed and wanted, haha. I am so incredibly proud of you both, and will be forever honored to have been part of your special day! See you guys soon ;)
