finally my long awaited trip to Italy delayed 2 1/2 years by Covid. My first meal getting off the train prosciutto and mozzarella Panini with iced coffee and cream for four euros. !
A stand selling multicolored pasta and Torah covers at the Hebrew museum in Rome. Requested permission to go to services tomorrow night for Shabbat and had to send my Covid vaccine proof and passport and am awaiting their approval…. hope they didn’t see my prosciutto sandwich🔯

The end of an era....the Madison Park Cafe building has been sold after a great 32 year run. Now all the restaurnat stuff inside must be sold! big garage sale this weekend sunday and Monday 9-3 PM. Glassware, tables, chairs,lamps, freezers, refers, lots of metro shelving , sinks, plates and miscellaneous stuff. Cash or check, and be prepared to take it with you. Just come by for a happy farewell to a life well lived!

Feels great to be back in my old 'hood in Geneva, Switzerland . Dipped into France for a day in the markets found housefuls of Rosé, pâté and valid sons and cookies from Provence. Off to Venice tomorrow to meet my sister for a week for some pre-69th birthday festivities:)
