To the Wonderful Communities of; West Seattle & White Center
On Feburary 14th, 2018 I returned home after a day long event, it was 3:45 am. Exhausted, I deciced to lock the equipment in the SUV for the night, and unload early in the morning.
When I got up at 8:30 am. to bring the equipment into the house, I walk out to the private parking lot in front of my apartment to find every door to my vehicle wide open all of the sound equipment was gone... In less than 4 hours, my entire livelyhood, stolen not more than 50 ft. from where I slept. needless to say, It was devastating!
My first call was to my Brother, a detective with the Seattle PD. then to 911. My business partner Bill Erickson, as always, handled the news much better than I. He immediatly began constructing a new Computer Karaoke system, which included re-creating a (2) Terra-byte hard drive consisting of our entire DJ & Karaoke Musiq Library. As for me, I had to try and replace everything else... Microphones, Speakers, the Sound Board. I was able to borrow most of the hardware from My friend Robo Kitty and other friends in the industry temporarly... But there was no way to come up with all the money to purchase new equipment.
I reached out to a very good friend KaraokeKelli, recently she to had been the victim of a similar theft. She put together a "Go-Fund-Me" page, to ask for the communities help.
And they did... I never thought there would be such a show of love and support from the West Seattle / White Center Neighborhood. Current clients, Longtime friends, all came together contributed to the recovery of my business. I was blessed and overwhelmed. I will never forget what you have all done for me.
To all of you who come out and support the show, you contributed to the recovery, not just with your money. But your kind words, your encouragement, and your singing voices.
I can never hope to repay everyone for their generosity, nor will I ever be able to express my appericiation to you for saving my business.
But you have my word, I will continue to entertain you, and support this community for the rest of my days...
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You All, So very much!
Sincerly,
Christopher Mychael, CEO/Founder, PCM Musiq
