Hats off to every graduate crossing the stage this season across the Pacific Northwest.

At Seattle Convention Center, we believe every commencement deserves a venue as memorable as the achievement itself. Our Arch and Summit buildings have welcomed graduating classes of all sizes, delivering the scale, flexibility, and downtown Seattle backdrop that make a ceremony feel truly special.

If you're searching for a venue that can match the energy of the moment, we'd love to be your stage next year.

Seattle Convention Center will illuminate purple tonight in honor of National Naloxone Awareness Day.

June 6 is National Naloxone Awareness Day — a day dedicated to a medication that saves lives. Naloxone (known by the brand name Narcan) reverses opioid overdoses and can mean the difference between life and death in an emergency.

SCC is proud to stand with communities working to end the overdose crisis — through awareness, education, and compassion. No stigma. Just support. Learn more and find naloxone resources at https://zurl.co/RtQRR.

SCC is illuminating the arch in teal on June 3–5 in honor of Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Awareness Month.

MG is a rare neuromuscular autoimmune disease affecting over 70,000 Americans, causing fluctuating muscle weakness and fatigue that can make everyday tasks a challenge.

Teal lighting is a symbol of hope — and a call to action to improve diagnosis times, support patients, and fund lifesaving research. Look up this weekend and stand with the MG community.

Seattle Convention Center is proud to illuminate our building in green and white tonight in honor of a remarkable Pacific Northwest milestone.

On June 1, 1951, Washington State Ferries launched its very first voyage across Puget Sound. Seventy-five years later, the ferry system remains a vital connector for our region — linking communities, supporting local economies, and serving as an enduring symbol of the Pacific Northwest.

As a gathering place at the heart of Seattle, we're honored to join our partners in celebrating this anniversary. Congratulations to the entire Washington State Ferries. Here's to 75 more years of connecting our communities!

Seattle Convention Center is happy to welcome the The Electrochemical Society for the 249th ECS Meeting, which kicked off yesterday.

Anchored by the theme Sustainable Technologies, this year's gathering brings together international researchers, innovators, and policymakers united by a common mission: to use electrochemistry and solid-state science to build a cleaner, more resilient world.

From clean energy and decarbonization to circular materials and climate-resilient systems, SCC will be the stage for breakthroughs that matter. Seattle is ready!

On this Memorial Day, Seattle Convention Center pauses with our community to remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage shaped who we are. We don't forget.
