Two months before our clients’ wedding, the bride’s mother reached out asking for help because she was stuck on how to make a white, black, and gold tablescape work. She wanted to make sure it was, “not so stark since it was mainly white,” and really wanted it to feel luxurious, rich, and intentional.
She gracefully considered our proposal to move forward with renting plates, cutlery, and different linens than what the venue provided to achieve this look. We moved forward with an intricate lace overlay adorning ivory linens, paired with heavy-weight black velvet napkins to create depth through texture. To further enhance the warmth of the ivory linens, each place setting featured gold-foiled menus and name cards, gold-trimmed ivory chargers, and matching cutlery - creating a refined, cohesive tablescape with just the right amount of opulence.
