Bloodworks Northwest is back at The Sanctuary at Admiral in West Seattle (2656 42nd Ave SW) next week!

The Sanctuary will host its’ 2nd pop-up donor center in the Grand Room on Dec 23, 26, 28 & 29.

All donors will automatically be tested for covid-19 antibodies through (at least) Dec 31. Result mailed within 2 weeks of your donation. More info at https://www.bloodworksnw.org/covid19study/antibody-testing

Duos Catering and the Sanctuary at Admiral is helping out Blood Works NW this month and we need your help! Donating blood is the LEAST scary thing you can do this Halloween! Come join us (Halloween constumes encouraged) in the Grand Room at The Sanctuary pop-up donor center, located at 2656 42nd Ave SW in West Seattle.

The demand for blood is currently higher than usual. “Hospitals are seeing an increase in traumas and situations requiring blood,” said Curt Bailey, President and CEO of Bloodworks Northwest. “Overall blood usage is up 20% which translates to an additional 600 units of blood each week. This is unsustainable unless more community members step up to fill these growing needs.”

Your help is greatly needed! Please reserve some time to attend! The Sanctuary pop-up dates are: Thurs. Oct 29, Fri Oct 30 and Sat Oct 31.

Rest assured, blood donation is a safe and essential action. As an additional benefit, all whole blood donors will automatically be tested for covid-19 antibodies and results mailed within 2 weeks of your donation.
