Story time! It started raining 🌧️ unexpectedly the morning of this wedding and we kept debating moving it indoors up until the start of setup time. It was so important to the couple to have this ceremony outside that we checked all the weather apps possible to see the rain forecast down to the minute 😂.

We finally decided to take a risk and setup the ceremony outdoors as planned and it luckily cleared up for 40 min which is exactly the amount of time we needed for the ceremony and photos! Never a dull moment 🥰

Choose a wedding cake that fits your style and taste 🍰🧡

Gone are the days where your cake has to be grand in size and design! I’ve loved seeing the transition to smaller cakes that are just as beautiful and delicious. It’s also completely okay for you to get a cake for just you two to cut and have other dessert options available for guests (in fact, many guests prefer that since not everyone loves cake!)

Hi friends! One of my favorite parts about the wedding day is the First Look 💚 Getting to witness this special moment is always so beautiful 😍 Here are some tips when planning your First Look:

💌 Your First Look doesn’t only have to be at your venue. While it saves you a lot of time to be in one spot, if there’s a place special to both of you, build in the time to do your First Look there!
💌 If there’s an option, book two photographers so that its easy to capture the genuine reaction from you and your partner. The moment goes by quickly!
💌 Write each other a letter and read it out loud after the First Look. Seeing each other for the first time brings out all the emotions and your words and feeling will be captured best then.

The rain brought us some luck in the morning, and it cleared up just in time for their wedding.
