VENICE IS SINKING HAS SOLD OUT EVERY YEAR!! Venice Is Sinking originated in 2008 and is a gorgeous, sexy, festive affair that is a delight for the senses. Much like Carnivale in Venice, Venice Is Sinking tantalizes party goers with performances by an array of amazing circus troupe performers, dancers and musicians. EVERYONE must wear a Venetia
n style masquerade mask in order to gain entry to the Ball; and you're encouraged (please!) to wear your mask the entire evening, to add to the allure and sensuality of the event. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume, Venetian style gowns (think Marie Antoinette era, whit powdered wigs, bustier type ball gowns) and tails for the men. If you don't want to come in costume, attire is long gowns for the women (you can wear a cocktail dress, but you'll feel under-dressed); suits or tuxedos for the men. No jeans, khakis, etc. or you will be turned away. COSTUME CONTEST: Prizes will be awarded for Best Couple, Female and Male costume of the evening.
