🌿 A Day of Discovery at the Burke Museum 🌿
Women’s University Club members and friends recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture as part of our Naturalist Notebook Lecture Series, featuring the outstanding naturalist Julie Stein. 💫
The Naturalist Notebook📚program brings together renowned field and academic experts who share their latest research, discoveries, and insights about the natural world. Topics range from backyard birding 🦅 and global migration patterns to international conservation efforts 🌍 and of course, member-suggested subjects! Occasionally, we take the learning beyond the lecture hall with special off-site experiences like this one. 🌞
Spending the day exploring, learning, and sharing curiosity together was a beautiful reminder that the spirit of lifelong learning is alive and well within our community. 👯 Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring program!

💜 Celebrate International Women’s Day with Us 💜

Join us on Sunday, March 8 as the Women’s University Club of Seattle proudly celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 with a very special program honoring Justice Mary Yu.

This year’s global theme, ✨ 💜Give to Gain 💜✨, comes to life as Justice Yu shares reflections on her remarkable personal journey, her distinguished career, and her lifelong commitment to social and racial justice both on and off the bench.

🌸 The afternoon will include:
• A welcoming social hour🍹
• A lovely lunch together 🍽️
• An inspiring program and toast honoring 🥂 Justice Yu and women around the world

Members and guests will also have the opportunity to support the WUC Foundation Scholarship Program in her honor; an investment in the next generation of women leaders. 👗

Last night was nothing short of spectacular! Our Rombauer Wine Dinner was a true celebration of culinary artistry, impeccable pairings, and wonderful company.

Chef Tino 👨‍🍳 and his incredible culinary team delivered a flawless multi-course experience — from the decadent truffle Alfredo to the tender pork tenderloin, roasted rack of lamb, and melt-in-your-mouth short ribs — each perfectly paired with Rombauer’s exceptional wines. Every bite, every sip, every detail was thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed.

Our guests enjoyed a sensory journey through Napa Valley, complete with elegant presentations, rich flavors, and a warm, lively atmosphere that made the evening truly memorable. And of course, the chocolate decadence dessert paired with Cabernet was the perfect finale.

Thank you to our staff for once again exceeding expectations, and to our wonderful members and guests for making the night so special. This is what community, hospitality, and great wine are all about. 🍷✨ We already can’t wait for the next one!
