Happy Earth Day 🌎! We spent the day making upcycled bottle cap magnets with the Starbucks Sustainability Group and lots of Starbucks partners and it was so fun! We hope you did something great for the Earth and something fun for you today too.

The Northwest Event Show…started today and it was fun, exhausting and soul fulfilling!!! We redid our booth this year and I must say that I am SUPER proud of how it turned out. We crafted with so many wonderful people today and still have a whole another day tomorrow. I can’t wait! Please come by our booth and make some alcohol ink art with us and find out more about what we are all about. This was the event we did last year where we finally felt we had found our people and you are all showing up again this year for sure.

Today we are introducing you to week #2 of summer camp - Paper and Pages Camp!

We will dive into the magical world of book arts this summer! Campers will explore the art of creating unique, handmade books while learning fun and exciting techniques like paper marbling, bookbinding, and pop-up page design. Each day, kids will craft their own storybooks, journals, and artistic creations inspired by their imagination and favorite themes like nature, adventure, or fantasy. Whether they’re folding, stitching, or illustrating, young artists will discover the joy of combining words and art into keepsake masterpieces. Perfect for budding authors, artists, and crafters!

The field trip for this week will take us to the Beacon Food Forest to gather materials to make paper from.

Cheers to International Women’s Day! Today we are celebrating all the amazing women who make this little business what it is…my mom, Kathleen, who taught me everything I know: how to think critically, how to ask questions, how to be creative and kind! And Kayla, my daughter, who is my partner in everything creative and messy! I love these ladies dearly and they are with me every little and big step of the way on this amazing journey and I couldn’t do it without them.

We can do custom stickers! We were contacted to do an event for a corporate client and they want to do Pine Car Derby Racing Cars 🏎️!!! How fun is that? We could just buy the stickers online, but we have offered the client to make custom pin stripes and flames to match the client’s branding. I am really excited for this one! Zoom zoom!!!

As a crafter, of course on vacation we find crafts to do, right?! We came across this awesome likely crafting station in Sandpoint, ID this week and we gave needle felting a try and it was so much fun. If you are ever skiing at Schweitzer, head over to and sit down for a little crafting time

Coming this summer!! We are excited to share that we will be hosting 8 weeks of summer camps this starting the week of July 7th and running until the end of August. Registration goes live on Feb 2nd at Noon, so be sure to set an alarm ⏰ so you don’t miss out! We will have a different fun filled theme each week (see below)👇. We can’t wait to do more crafting and make more art with your kiddos!

Learning something new this evening, giving crochet a try. I have no idea what I am doing, but I have a couple of books and I am giving it a good try. Its fun! It might be a janky, multicolored blanket in the end, but I will have done it all with my own hands, that is what I am going for. What new hobby have you picked up over the holiday break?

She cleans up nicely!!! All tidy and ready for a Yarn Wall Hanging class tonight. Got all the light cords tucked away and even got the floor mopped, what???? I am proud of all the hard work that went in to making our studio look beautiful.

I did a thing…and it lights up the space way better now! I got the lights from and had to rewrite them to be plug in because hardwiring them was way out of my limited budget. And yes, it’s still a mess in the studio and I need to wrestle the wires, but I am so proud of all the hard work it took to get them up and in working order.

Calling families in the following schools! We are offering after school classes in 19 (seriously, 19?!) Seattle area elementary schools and these schools still have room to sign up!

Like Mom, like daughter. We decided to go check out our local branch to see what cool books we could find, I mean what is more sustainable than that? We found some good stuff! Kayla found some amazing panda books to read for her homework and I found a ton of crafting books for myself. Can’t wait to tuck in!

We are getting ready to start the Fall session of after school kids art classes in the Seattle area. Our theme this session is Art with Nature. We love to use thrifted, donated and upcycled materials for these classes and we could use a few specific things if you have any to give. We can even arrange a pick up! So please reach out if you have any of these items or if you can start saving them up for a pick up soon!
